I never write reviews but after using this for over a year now, I had too! I have had acne prone skin for life. I was always hesitant to use any type of hair oils, creams, lotions, sprays, gels, and leave in products. I could tell a product would cause me to break out just by looking at it. I came across this brand when searching “acne prone skin hair products”. I took the gamble after reading the description and reviews. And it was so worth it. I started with the “fragrance free” version but then went to this one, the smell is a light & fresh smell that is not overwhelming (certain scents trigger migraines for me). I very much enjoy the scent and it does last while in my hair. I shower and then brush my hair out. After that I will take about a table spoon of this crème and rub it in between my hands and then I’ll use my fingers to run it though my hair (I do this twice). The crème itself isn’t heavy, it’s smooth and light, a small amount goes a long way. The consistency spreads easily. I will then blow my hair out and use a straightener to gently go over. Initially, the hair (around the top of my head and scalp) feels a bit greasy, however after a couple of hours- that feeling is completely gone. My hair is soft, shiny, clean feeling and there’s no frizz. I have naturally curly hair and this crème has definitely helped keep my blow out looking sharp! But best of all- no break outs!! No oily feeling or looking hair! Even when I am initially running it through my hair- it doesn’t feel greasy or oily. I’ve used products in the past that have caused pimples, specifically around my hair line, and with this- I’ve had mine. My hair feels clean, even after a few days. I highly recommend this product for those who are worried about break outs, and even for those who don’t!!

I’m a millennial hair tool and product junkie who decided to throw it all out and replace it all with clean products. One of the harder things for me to find has been a heat protectant. I have shoulder length, fine, wavy, and frizz prone hair. Products can easily weigh down my hair. With dry shampoo between, I wash twice a week on average. The first time I used this product I used about a nickel size of product and I applied it directly to my hair out of the shower and combed through. As I was blow drying my hair, I realized that it was taking significantly longer and I started to become worried about way too much product in my hair and I felt like the disbursement was as uneven. I let it air dry for a bit and came back and finished styling and determined that while I had used too much product, there was great potential. I didn’t have to re-wash my hair and was able curl it and be happy with it for a couple of days. I decided to try it again before I wrote a review. This time I used a dime size amount and mixed it with water in my hands for a more even application. There was still an increased time to my blow drying, which is something I can deal with. My hair is soft, shiny, and LOVES the curling iron after I’ve used this product. My next day curls hold as good (and some days not good) as any other hair product I’ve used. I feel like my hair has more body. I do wish they had a lighter spray option, but I would never reach for cremes in the past because of my fine hair so it may be that I just need to find my perfect technique and amount. I am really happy that I found this product. While it is expensive up front, my guess is a whole tube will probably last me 4-6 months, maybe more! It is very lightly scented. I personally have to put my nose to my hair. Moving from fragrance heavy products to very lightly or unscented, I appreciate the light clean smell.

I bought the SEEN Blow-Out Creme (Fragrance Free) because I wanted a fragrance-free leave-in that also works as a heat protectant, since my hair can dry out easily. For reference, I have very thick, long curly hair (3C–4A) with mixed curl patterns and some heat damage from mid-length to ends. The back middle section of my hair is more 4A, and that area dries out the most and tangles easily, so I’m very picky about leave-ins. This product is honestly a holy grail for me. The texture is a light, runny cream (not heavy), and a little goes a long way, so it's a great value for the price. I apply a small amount on damp hair from the ends up, staying about an inch away from my roots. It made my hair feel incredibly soft, smooth, moisturized, and manageable, and it held onto moisture without feeling greasy. Blow-drying was super fast, and after using heat tools my hair looked healthy, shiny, silky, and moved naturally with a soft, polished finish that lasted for days. I love that it’s fragrance-free, clean, vegan, and it actually performs. I’ll definitely keep repurchasing.

This blowout creme works remarkably well on my fine, straight, naturally blonde hair. It seems to wash out cleanly, too, without the need for double washing or clarifying shampoos. I really love that there's no fragrance, and I don't have to worry about it irritating my medically-induced hypersensitive skin. It would be a unicorn product for me except for one thing: the formula is kind of watery, so it tends to come out fast and give me too much every time. I've started storing it in the drawer with the black cap up and being really cautious when opening it. That's not that big ideal, but it does keep it from being the perfect product - especially when you consider how expensive it is, and how much water you're getting for the price.

Very good. I actually don't use it for blow-out; just smooth it through with my fingers and scrunch my wet hair to make waves. What I like is that besides making styling easy it also eliminates tangles. And truthfully there is NO fragrance which is appreciated when one is as sensitive to fragrance as I am. Also doesn't make my head itch.

This product is great at avoiding fragrance and reducing the level of itchiness I was experiencing on my skin. Unfortunately it's green washing a bit. Designed by a dermatologist and marked with a slogan "Great hair. Healthy skin. No compromises." Well here is the compromise. EDTA - reduces DNA's ability to repair itself. Phenoxyethanol - made in lab. A carcinogen and harmful to babies. Polyquaternium - toxic to the nervous system, probably carcinogen, connected to inflammatory cytokines, decreases mitochondria function and disrupts natural cholesterol break down when found in blood. It has every other trigger word and the claims are true, vegan, safe in color, gluten free, no sulfates or silicones, no parabens or dyes. Which are all great! And a lot better than comparable items. But still not really a clean option.

39F with extremely sensitive skin, eczema, adult acne, fragrance allergy. I love my hair with this product — shiny, healthy-looking, no frizz, no grease. I did get a breakout on my jawline when I first started using this, but not 100% sure the creme was the cause. I started using a little less around my face and no issues since. I only need a small amount of product for my shoulder length hair and find it works best to use every second day, so bottle should last a long time.

The best heat protector I have come across. Especially great for silver hair which can be damaged so easily.
