it took a little manipulation to loosen the coils, they seemed stuck together.
I was concerned at first because thge coils seemed stuck together. They did loosen and all was well. I bought these for stocking stuffers and fun toys for grandkids. Overall, they are fine. I like the idea of the primary colors.

I used it as stocking stuffers for 5 kids. Ages 6, 9 & 11. They all love it.

Cheaply made. Tangle easily and then don't go back together evenly.
I know all slinkies tangle, but these too much so. The main problem being when you untangle it and put it back together, it's not a smooth cylinder anymore, but has gaps. They look and feel cheap. I'd recommend paying the few extra bucks for a higher quality brand.
