I am an older gentleman who has played around with instruments all my life, but wanted to actually get good at something. So I bought this bass guitar, thinking "at $120 with shipping, what's the risk?" Turns out this is a REAL instrument, albeit on the low end. The amp is only good enough to learn with, and the feedback is pretty bad when you try to turn it up. But it gives you a rich deep sound at lower sound levels, plenty to learn with in your living room. The strings and frets are not top-notch, but good enough to learn the basics. Bottom line - if you want to dip your toes in and see if this is for you, you can't go wrong with this setup. I am honestly impressed by how much you get for so little!

The bass itself feels good for the price that’s being sold. Perfect bass for a beginner although there were some weird scratches on the neck and i think someone messed up the Dots on the neck and tried to fix it but thankfully it’s not noticeable from far but noticeable when you have it on you. Great product but with a minor defect.

Awesome first guitar kit. He learned very well on this. We have been building on it and getting Pedals and stuff, now he's onto a full size.

Inconsistent quality in the wood coloration. I like the bass otherwise. I would have probably chosen one of the colors instead of natural.
