It says it's a wall mounting type does that mean it doesn't come with its own stand?

I purchased the 24". It did come with a stand. I wanted to hang it so I bought a generic wall mount which fit well.

How does it work with alexa? i am not seeing how to make that function work. it states that it works with alexa.

Hi Ellie, You have to download the Alex App in your mobile device, then: Open the Alexa App. ... Then tap More. ... Next, tap Settings. Then tap TV & Video. ... Next, select your content or service provider. (Roku) Then tap Link or Enable. ... Next, select the TV that you want to connect Alexa to and tap Continu Finally select return to..

Can you turn off the “soap opera” mode for a softer/less sharp look?

You have to mess with the brightness, contrast, etc. Took me some time to tweak it!

how far apart are the legs on the 40" model?

Too far in my opinion. I like centered support. It's 31" at the farthest most point between the legs.
