Easy to install, when installed properly it's pretty sturdy. Works perfectly with magsafe. If you have a magsafe phone case it will work perfectly as well, however if you have a regular phone case, it is not recommended, on bumpy roads it will fall for sure if you don't have a magsafe phone case.

I have an iPhone 15 Pro max and the mount continually falls off the vents in my BMW and VW GTI when I pull the phone off the mount. The grip for the vents fins are not long enough to close completely behind the fins or it will just not stay tightened. I am going to try it on my dad's Tundra to see if it will work there, but I am not counting on it.

I bought this for my wife to mount her cell phone in her car to use with a mapping/route guidance app. She previously used a mount that had two pincers that needed to be prier apart to insert her phone and was frustrated that it took two hands to mount and remove. This simplifies the process greatly, as the phone just magnetically snaps into position.The only thing that I could potentially call a flaw at all is that tightening the head so that the phone doesn't swivel is awkward to do with the phone installed, since you need to twist the back side to lock it in place. But honestly I don't know how you could avoid that small irritation and you only really need to do it once.I ended up buying a second unit for myself after seeing my wife's, and I don't even need a phone mount since my car has wireless carplay using a display built into my dashboard. But this unit was versatile enough that I could use it to mount other items by sticking one of the included metal rings onto an item, then magnetically snapping that item to the mount. It's not necessary to use the rings if your phone has mag-lock charging, but the fact that you can mount non-magnetic items as well surprised me!

Seems to hold good and fits onto the vent perfectly. Strong magnet, my iPhone 13 has a MagSafe case and there is no shifting of the phone. Very secure for a fairly smooth ride with a normal in town/highway trek, but it took a bit of patience to get the fitting tight. When the phone needs another viewing angle I’ll hold the entire unit with a firm grip to reposition at the swivel mechanism. That will help avoid any loosening of the fitting at the vent. This vent magnet will also work for my mini iPad when putting an adhesive magnet on the back of my case.I’m not confident this would be a good hold for off road or rough terrain, so I’ll just stick to even pavement when using the unit. Solid 4 Star review instead of 5, because I’m not sure about how this would manage on rocky roads.

This was my 3rd attempt at purchasing a magsafe car mount that mounted to my vent. I have no other good places to mount a phone holder on my dash, and I didnt want a big mechanical arm hangin off my window or the top of the dashboard. I tried 2 other mounts but they kept slipping out of the vent. This holder has a great knob that allows you to adjust the tension on the vent to keep it from falling off. My local city roads are the absolute worst roads in the nation, almost like a war zone of potholes. I didnt think anything would stay mounted and not fall off on the bumpy roads or retain the phone on the magnet . I was skeptical at first, but after using it for a few weeks it has performed flawlessly. This is a great phone mount. Get it.

Magnet was too strong, and it kept slipping out of the vent. Also one of the rubber pads slipped off so I had to super glue it back on. Then eventually one of the sides of the clap part just broke.

Meglio non rischiare.La tenuta è buona, senz'altro adeguata alle strade malmesse di Milano. Nonostante le dimensioni del telefono (15 pro max) non ho notato cedimenti nemmeno sui dossi.Il prodotto fa senz'altro il proprio dovere.Il prezzo, forse, è un po' alto.

This product is very sturdy. It is metal like others have said. Very easy to install but did take some force to attach the pieces together. The latch works perfectly on my nissan rogue 2020 vents. Somehow it does get looser over time so I have tightened it here and there but it never fell off. The magnet is very strong and your phone won't fall off during bumps and all that. Chose this item because I don't have wireless carplay and that I still wanted to charge the phone directly so Carplay would connect. Otherwise if I did have wireless carplay I would of chosen a wired car mount. I plan to buy this for my wife as well.
