Pretty good, but not perfect.
Overall, I've found this set up pretty decent and use mine for landscape photography with a (1) polarizer, (2) 10-stop ND and (3) 15-stop ND filter.Pros: The pros are fairly obvious as switching filters on and off is smooth and easy. Time-for-money-for-convenience they are a good deal.Cons: I get vignetting on all images from 20-200 mm using various lenses and the necessity of having to buy a lens cap is a pretty shameless money grab by Manfrotto whose engineers manage to make other product offerings more efficient.Other: Make sure you understand that for each lens you will need a lens adapter and a lens cap. For each filter you will need a Filter Holder.Using my example on my 20 mm wide angle lens (77 mm diameter), I have three filter holders (one each for the polarizer, 10-stop and 15-stop, one lens adapter and one lens cap. If I wanted one for my UV filter, I'd have to add a 4th filter holder. (adds up, doesn't it?)I've been tempted to buy the same for my 24-70 mm, 77 mm diameter lens, but don't see a practical point based on my usage. If I did, it would be another filter holder for my UV filter, another lens adapter and another lens cap.Instead, I just use one set up for both lenses and keep everything in a small bag so I can have a UV filter easily in place. Need step-up ring to ensure no vignetting for video for wider lens.
I shoot video with a GX85 with a Panasonic 8-18mm (MFT) [16-36mm FF] that has a 67mm thread and use a brass step-up ring to avoid vignetting with a Freewell 77mm VND and the Xume adapters. No issues for video (both 1080p & 4K) , but it does vignette with photos (4:3), but I would think photographers would rather use fix NDs which would be thinner than most VNDs, in general. Not sure how these will hold up over time, but love the functionality. Just a mere second or two to pop on or off any filter with the matching adapter ring. In run-and-gun situations, it's comes in handy walking to/from a bright environment and popping on/off a VND and one great benefit is you can position the arrow on the VND so it's always visible. No more carefully threading and screwing on a filter and not having sight of the arrow when you need to be recording and trying to determine exact position for stopping down. Freewell VND has arrows on both sides, so that's less of an issue, but there are others that don't.Overall, great for my needs, but probably not for photographers with the same equipment.

These work great
I have Xume magnetic adapters on all my 82mm filters and they work great. The one drawback is that the traditional 82mm lens caps won't grip onto the magnetic Xume base ring, since there's no inner thread for it to grip onto, and Manfrotto does not carry an 82mm magnetic lens cap. I bought this 2 pack to solve that issue, as the 82mm lens caps WILL grip onto the adapter, and I can just slap the lens cap/adapter onto the base ring. The magnets are strong, but not overpowering, and I've found them easy to work with.

This will induce vignetting with normal thickness filters!
I'm using Breakthrough X4 filters which are made of brass where as the Xume filter holder is aluminium (I think), these two has different temperature sensitivities. I purposely didn't screw the Xume on tight because I didn't want it stuck on the filter, but it wasn't loose enough so that as I held it in my palm, the Breakthrough X4 expanded so quickly that the Xume ended up getting stuck on it anyways. In the end, it took me over half an hour loosening and removing it.Why didn't I like it?I find that the Xume system will induce vignetting at the corners of the image when a normal thickness filter is installed due to the extra thickness produced by both the Xume Lens Adaptor and Xume Filter Holder, more heavier vignetting will occur when another filter is stacked. The material used in the Xume filter holder is not very considerate in my case, I'd hope it would be built out of brass so it gets expanded quicker, that will make removing it off the filter easier.Even though the Xume filter holder has two sets of groves but they are still very difficult to get a grip on, I wish if Manfrotto had made the groves larger/deeper for a better handling.I think the Xume system itself is better paired with Xume filters made by Manfrotto instead as they don't introduce that extra thickness/space between the filter and lens from element, I haven't tested this as I don't have any Xume filters myself, but I would think this combination will not introduce vignette?

Surprisingly Useful Device
When I first saw this, I thought it was a little silly. Then, the eclipse came along, and I started thinking about getting the solar filter off and on my lens in the short period of totality. I ordered the filter holder (this part) and the ring that attaches to the lens. I was pleasantly surprised at how positively and strongly the magnets held the filter in place. I began to think about the convenience of snapping a polarizer on and off the lens and ordered another ring to have one for polarizer and another for UV. So, I'm a convert. A 67 mm set is going on my Christmas wish list.

Convenience Costs
These things aren't cheap but man the convenience they add to a camera is astounding. I do a lot of wedding videography where moving between indoor lighting and outdoor direct sunlight happens 100x on the day of filming. The Xume system is invaluable to me. When these are coupled with a high quality variable ND filter, it's so easy to quickly adapt to lighting changes and allows me to easily use one expensive filter on various cameras. Lots cheaper than buying a filter for each camera or lens. Highly recommend this system.

Great addition
I've now bought 3 of these filter holders and 1 lens adapter. They make getting a filter on and off quick and easy. The filter holder just snaps onto the adapter and is held in place by a magnet. No more trying to screw the filter on and not cross thread it.I gave 4 stars for 2 reasons. One is that they are a little pricey in Canada, a lot cheaper in the states from the manufacturer but the manufacturer will not ship to Canada. 2: The regular lens cap will not work with the adapter so I had to order one made for the adapter. Amazon does not carry it in Canada and the manufacturer says this line is not carried in Canada.. I feel if Amazon Canada carries the adapter and holders, they should also carry the lens cap.

Four Stars because...
I bought one 12 months ago and the magnet unglued and down it went with my expensive Tiffen varable nd filter. Glued back the magnet with crazy glue. Is this the right glue ??? So I bought a new one because this product is very usefull and there is nothing like it on the market. I hope it won't happen again.

Magnetic filter holder
I absolutely love this product. It is so easy to use, meaning I don't have to keep unscrewing the 10 stopper because I need to recompose the photo. I just pull it off, recompose and then it just snaps it back on with the magnetic ability that it has. I have recommended it to lots of people. I now have 2 different sizes.Love it.

Causes vignetting
Installed the Xume lens adapter on top of the UV filter on my Canon EF-S 18-135mm lens and immediately noticed some vignetting at 18mm. After adding the filter adapter, the combined thickness of the lens and filter adapter was roughly 6.5mm causing vignetting up to about 28mm before I even added a filter.I had planned to use the Xume adapters in conjunction with my 67 to 77mm step-up ring so I could use my 77mm filters inside my lens hood. With the filter adapter mounted on my step-up ring, I was able to drop the step-up ring onto the lens adapter with the lens hood installed so in this regard it worked perfectly. Ironically, the combined assembly of Xume lens adapter + Xume filter adapter + step-up ring + filter resulted in the front of the filter extending so far forward the lens hood actually didn't offer much protection from flare.
