Need step-up ring to ensure no vignetting for video for wider lens.
I shoot video with a GX85 with a Panasonic 8-18mm (MFT) [16-36mm FF] that has a 67mm thread and use a brass step-up ring to avoid vignetting with a Freewell 77mm VND and the Xume adapters. No issues for video (both 1080p & 4K) , but it does vignette with photos (4:3), but I would think photographers would rather use fix NDs which would be thinner than most VNDs, in general. Not sure how these will hold up over time, but love the functionality. Just a mere second or two to pop on or off any filter with the matching adapter ring. In run-and-gun situations, it's comes in handy walking to/from a bright environment and popping on/off a VND and one great benefit is you can position the arrow on the VND so it's always visible. No more carefully threading and screwing on a filter and not having sight of the arrow when you need to be recording and trying to determine exact position for stopping down. Freewell VND has arrows on both sides, so that's less of an issue, but there are others that don't.Overall, great for my needs, but probably not for photographers with the same equipment.

Definitely worth the money!
Just what the doctor ordered. I just got this along with the filter holder, but so far, so good. They work as expected. This will allow me to change filters much more easily and quickly than the old-school thread system.I was concerned that they might be easily knocked off. It *could* happen if you bump into something at just the right angle, but the filter holder sits down into a recessed area in the lens adapter, so a lateral strike isn't likely to knock it off. The magnetic attraction between the two seems about right; not too strong for easy removal, but not so weak that it would be bumped off. If you're concerned about it, I'd recommend keeping the lens hood in place. The adapter and holder are designed to allow the lens hood to be put on and removed easily anyway, so the hood should provide adequate protection.I would definitely recommend this and the filter holder if you have a habit of switching filters often. They will save you a lot of time and hassle.

Good system, but was unusable for me due to vignetting
I really wanted to like this system, I had it all planned out. My clear and my circ PL would each have these, then I could add NDs on top as needed.Unfortunately I realized this system is unusable due to vignetting unless you use step up rings. The vignetting was so bad with the adapter + 1 filter on.I suppose that the users lens is also a factor as well, now I know that my Sigma 24-70 will tolerate 2 filters, barely, before vignetting is crazy. If your lens can tolerate 3 filters then you could skip the step up ring.So to summarize I think this system is awesome but only when using step up rings. If your lens is 82mm you are pretty much screwed since I think this is the maximum size of the adapters.

Very convenient to use, but...
These rings hold the matching ring/filter pretty well although with another unit I did drop a filter off the lens onto some rocks. Bad things happened. But it is very convenient to use especially to swap ND filters in once a composition has been finalized. btw these rings will add some vignetting corners to wide angle lenses like a 24-70.For some unexplained and ridiculous reason this same item is selling for the price-gouging, usurious figure of 148.00 CAD. on the Canadian site- third part seller. Complaints have gone unanswered. So, in Canada buyer beware! 33.00 USD is much more reasonable. Amazon needs to be on top of and in control of third party sellers such as these.

Use this with Xume filter holder will induce vignetting!
First off, the built quality isn't very good, the adapter is made of aluminium and plastic, on the plastic piece you will notice extra plastic finishing from the moulding process (something you won't be expecting to see in even the cheapest toys nowadays). Though it doesn't affect using the Xume adaptor itself, but seeing it on a Manfrotto product is kinda disappointing.I used this Xume lens adaptor in combination with a Xume filter holder on a Breakthrough X4 ND filter rather than buying Xume filters. This combination is horrible as the stacked thickness of Xume lens adaptor and Xume filter holder will induce vignetting at the corners of your image. But I have not tested this against a thin filter, the Breakthrough X4 filter I use is of 'normal' thickness. I think using a thin filter might be able to avoid this vignetting problem. However, I think this is best used with a Xume filter as it doesn't have that extra thickness of the Xume filter holder. The pros of the filter: The magnet is very strong, so even with a heavy filter like the Breakthrough X4s it will be quite stable. Changing filters is definitely quicker and easier. The Xume lens adaptor/Xume filter holder combination is relatively cheap.

Convenience Costs
These things aren't cheap but man the convenience they add to a camera is astounding. I do a lot of wedding videography where moving between indoor lighting and outdoor direct sunlight happens 100x on the day of filming. The Xume system is invaluable to me. When these are coupled with a high quality variable ND filter, it's so easy to quickly adapt to lighting changes and allows me to easily use one expensive filter on various cameras. Lots cheaper than buying a filter for each camera or lens. Highly recommend this system.

Lens cap does not fit tightly
Works great and the magnetic coupling is very strong and I don't imagine any situation that the filter would come off. But the lens cap doesn't fit very well on it and it does easily fall off.

Did not work for me.
I gave this 3 stars because it is an interesting concept and might work for photographers who change filters often. It did not work for me. I wanted to use it with my Variable ND filter I use for video. The VND filter (which has hard stops at each end) kept coming unscrewed when hitting the stop going counter clockwise. I could not tighten it up by hand and was not going to use anything else in fear of not being able to remove the filter from this ring. Too expensive for me considering I could not use it for my purpose. I am returning it.

Reliable
Am entitled to free batteries but takes too long for nhs department to post them through and they only allow one pack at a time. I use two hearing aids and can't hear without both so on 24 hours at a time for safety. This means I need a good supply of batteries at all times. This company send them through quickly at a good price. They last just as long as the free ones and I feel more secure having a reliable supply.

Rayovac Type 13 Hearing Aid Batteries
When our local Hospital ran out of batteries and myself of hearing, this 'on line' supplies became a life saver, arriving in thenext post, well packed and protected, and bringing one back into a world of communication. As a result, I have become awarethat is is less expensive to now buy these on lone, than take a car six or seven miles to the nearest town to draw upon the NHSSupply.

Rayovac hearing aid batteries
Standard type 13 hearing aid batteries essential for long life and good performance in the hearing aid. The price reflects the problem of visiting the Hospital to exchange batteries for free but having to pay exhorbitent car parking charges and of course the waiting time involved to see someone.Buy through Amazon and have peace of mind.

Perfect for my Dad.
Bought for my elderly father who is happy with the batteries and the price. Yes he could get them for free, if he wanted to get on two buses there and back to the hospital to get them. But at 91 he prefers the convenience of having them delivered and who can blame him!
