Must Have Wellness Product
This is my 6th Lifepro Fitness product and so far one of my favorite. The benefits seem endless. I first used this light bulb on my feet and ankle area. I have been having a lot of stiffness and pain in my ankles and feet. I did not use the provided white socket with clip because this bulb is heavy and needs to be in a lamp. I already owned a lamp that has an adjustable arm, so I could angle the bulb downwards. I set a timer for 10 minutes and used eye protection I already owned. Within about 7 minutes I could tell my ankles and feet felt relaxed and looser. After the 10 minutes was over, I used the light bulb on my knees for 10 minutes. Then I went back to my feet for another 5 minutes. Great product and you cannot beat the price. This red light bulb apparently helps with inflammation, pain, and stiffness. I did feel some nausea for about 45 minutes after using the bulb. From my understanding of already owning and using a vibration platform on a regular basis, this is probably the detox stage ridding my body of toxins. This is a MUST product in my opinion for everyone. I highly recommend using some eye protection such a blackout rubber goggles like you would use in a tanning bed. Also, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc. is a good place to find lamps on clearance that might have a broken shade. I own 2 from TJ Maxx and I paid less than $20. This bulb is heavy and large, so you will not need a shade and you will want a lamp where you can angle downwards.

Who would have thought?
Who knew that this little red light could help with pain and joint inflammation among so many other things, I sure didn't. That is until I tried it now, I use it daily and/or nightly and it helps with some old injuries like my shoulder and my knee that tend to want to be really bothersome and painful at times. Easy to assemble all you do is screw the bulb into the lamp. Read the directions first and then turn it on. About 15 minutes later you're all done with your treatment and with consistent use (about a month ),I have found less pain and less information, as well as being able to move more freely. I have yet to try to use it for my skin. Like skin tightness and fine line reduction and pigment issues. But I will soon. The only thing I can think that needs improving is the clip on the lamp it's not strong enough for the weight of the bulb or big enough to securely clamp it where I need it to be. Side of a table. But other than that this is a great little device that I will be using for many years to come. Can't wait to see what LifePro comes out with next Love their stuff!

Most cost effective way of getting powerful red light therapy
This type of bulb may be the most cost effective way of getting powerful red light therapy that works well. I got a couple of these and when mounted on a tripod, both can cover quite a bit of the body at once. Large panels take less time, but cost much, much more. After only a few weeks, I've experienced benefits from using these about 30 minutes/day. They appear well built and I'm guessing will be good for many years. Nothing could be easier than screwing a bulb into a socket. With them mounted on a tripod, I can sit at my desk and work with these pointed at my body.

BEWARE! BIG ELECTRICAL SHOCK, SWITCH CAUGHT FIRE!
I bought this red light lamp 15 months ago. As with all my devices, I'm very careful when using them, and in this case very mindful of the clamp housing as the holder from the beginning seemed flimsy. Today, I went to use it as I do twice weekly for my eyes, placing it exactly as I always do, pressed down on the swtich, and received a very big electrical shock which caused me to scream as it was painful. There was a huge pop-sound as a black smoke plume billowed from the switch that I had been holding. I immediately tried to pull the plug from the recepticle fearing it was starting a fire, but it was too hot to handle. I then tried to grab it by the cord to pull it out but the entire cord was blazing hot as was the housing to the bulb. I grabbed a cloth to wrap and pull it from the wall socket before it set fire completely. When it cooled down, I unscrewed the bulb and the entire socket fell out, screws and all. The wires were uninsulated, charred, and one was completely severed. I have a heart condition that receiving a shock as I did could have caused me to go into a seriously dangerous arrhythmia, and even if that weren't the case, this could have resulted in a fire. Thank God I had the sense to always unplug it after each use put it back in its bag. I now notice in the reviews that many people have complained about the housing/clamp for the bulb. Apparently, the company isn't listening, or doesn't care. I pray it doesn't take an injury, death, or fire to get their attention. VERY frightening and disapointing. And, to add insult to injury, the "lifetime warranty" is only good if you registere the product within 14 days of purchase. BUYER BEWARE!

Some concerns
First, Amazon sent the light in a shipping bag, not a shipping box. When I opened the thin manufacturerโs box that the light and light fixture was in (think about the thickness of a cereal box), I was amazed that the bulb wasnโt broken since it was flat against the bottom of the box with very, very thin packaging and this box was shipped in an Amazon bag, not a box. What was in the manufacturerโs box from top to bottom upon opening it from the top was: โข the light fixture / clamp โข the paperwork on the side โข a piece of cardboard with a hole in it to hold the screw end of the bulb in the center of the box โข the bulb in a very, very thin disposable foam (?) bag with the light end of the bulb flat on the bottom of the box I think there was also supposed to be a drawstring bag. The light and bulb did work, however the light fixture itself was lacking. I read other reviews about how someone clamped the light onto a tripod so the person could move it around and position it the way they wanted to. I did this, too, and it sort of worked. The problem with the one I received is that there was no way to tighten the swivel part of the light fixture. So it was flopping and in order to position the light at the angle I wanted, I had to clamp it in such a way that I was afraid the whole thing would fall. I saw a video from another user, maybe an employee or ambassador of the company, where she explained that the bulb could go in most lamps or light fixtures. Yes, I could have purchased another light clamp, but that would have cost me more money out of my pocket. Yes, I could have contacted the company and probably gotten another light clamp. After fiddling with it, I decided that Iโd rather have a panel instead of a bulb and light clamp, especially since I may be using it with my elderly parents, too.

I received my package on time and in great condition. I have not used it yet but I know it's going to be amazing. I do also own another product from lifepro and I really like it.

Effective therapy light
These devices create a relaxing and healing light that works for all kinds of aches and pains both in connective tissue and joints. I have been using this device for a few weeks now and have definitely felt the effect. Since the intensity is low I position the unit a few inches from the area to be treated and it works better. The base clamp spring is not strong enough so I use a plastic spring loaded wood working clamp to hold the base on to a desk, or clamp it to something thicker.

Great while it lasts
It was great while it worked!! Lasted only a few weeks though. The clip lamp did not work at all when I received it, but used another one that I had.
