I needed this in order to use my travel hair curler in Europe. I haven’t found a European or Asian version of this curler, and unless I want to have bad hair the entire time traveling, I needed this converter. I traveled for 2 weeks in Europe and it worked very well. Worth the space in my very edited carry on.

I love this converter. It worked amazingly well on our trip to Iceland and Denmark, and we used it to charge electric toothbrushes and a compact hair iron in addition to our phones. I was really worried, having read other reviews and articles, that the converter would overheat or otherwise cause problems with electric toothbrushes and heating tools, but this one had zero issues and our appliances all worked great. We didn't have to use any of the adapters because it uses the most common European plug by default, but they all look easy to use. I gave this as a gift, too, and the recipient used it successfully in Greece and Kenya. And finally, it fits nicely in its carry bag and doesn't take up a ton of space. Really excited to have this for further international travel!

I purchased this item in the summer of 2018 for a trip to Africa.Good News - The good news is this product is well configured; possessing all the power outlets and adapters that I needed for Rwanda, Tanzania and, I'm sure, for the rest of Africa as well, if I needed them.Bad News - The bad news is that after a few days on Safari, one of the standard 3-prong plugs in the unit failed to operate. Additionally, the case developed a small crack in the corner of the cover outlet clearance hole.Great News - The great news is Foval's customer service was exemplary. Upon returning from my trip, I notified them of the issues associated with my unit. They quickly responded to address my disappointment and, without hesitation, sent me a replacement unit, free of charge. In my experience, every product has it's lemons. Someone, sometime, will always end up receiving one. This time it happened to me. The key, when issues like this arise, is how well the company acts to resolve them. In my case, I couldn't be happier. Foval deserves accolades for their customer service.

I purchased this item in March for a trip to Europe in April. On the first night of our trip, I wanted to use this Power Adapter/Converter to recharge the battery for my phone and it didn't work. I tried different outlets in the room and it wouldn't work. I contacted the hotel registration desk and he said he didn't know why it wouldn't work, so I just assumed that I had purchased a defective product. I was definitely disappointed because I purchased it because of the size and th many things that you could charge at one time. The next morning we were talking to other hotel guests and they said they didn't have any problems in their rooms. I mentioned this to the guy at the front desk and he said he'd check on it. When we returned that evening, it worked. So the problem wasn't the product, it was the hotel's problem. The adapter/converted worked very well for the remainder of our trip to Europe (Spain, Portugal, Morocco and Ireland) which was 5 1/2 weeks long. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is traveling to Europe. It work very well for me and I used it every night for me except for the first night which was caused by a problem at the hotel.

This does not work in Australia or in New Zealand. I found out this until I was already on my trip and had to carry it around the whole time I was there and was not able to use it. And had to buy one over there to use while I was there.By the time I came back from my trip it was too late to return it.These are the outlets used in Australia and in New Zealand and none of the adapters fit these. Very disappointed that I can’t return it. False advertising.

This is a great CONVERTER. It also works as an ADAPTER. For those who aren't familiar, you need to convert all your electronic devices from 220V in Europe to the 110-120V we use in the USA. If all you want to do is charge an iPhone, the iPhone plug is actually a converter as well (the little white box you plug your USB in to.....it is very cool) but you still need an adaptor because you can't plug the USA iPhone in to a European outlet. This converter functions as a converter and an adapter. I also bought some adapters so if my family wanted to just charge our iphones we could just plug in to the adapter. But I also had to charge the chargers we all had, and camera batteries, and that's when the converter is needed otherwise you'll blow out your device. This Converter is also great because you can charge so many things at once. Several times even for the iphones I had all 4 plugged in to the USB ports on this converter (even though you can use an adapter and go directly in to the plug in the wall as long as you use the iPhone plug), and was charging 3 chargers directly in to the converter outlets. This thing is powerful and to prevent overheating it has a little fan that seems to run continuously but is not annoying or distracting at all. It also comes with a lot of plugs for other countries, which is nice. I highly recommend this product, and it cost half the amount of similar converters.

I recently traveled to London and France and was in need of a reliable power adapter for my electronics. The compact size made it easy to carry in my bag.I was able to plug it in easily in both London and France, and it worked seamlessly in both countries. Not too loud and works pretty well

La capacidad del convertidor es muy baja, no es suficiente para poder operar una secadora. Cuando lei inicialmente las características indicaba algo que yo interpreté que si se podía usar. Sin embargo, cuando recibí el producto y lei la descripción me di cuenta de que no se podía. Fue un error mío pero la información es confusa.

No funciona como convertirdor de energía, solo como adaptador gigante (en el mercado hay mucho más compactos) y me llegó incompleto, le faltaron dos adaptadores que según la descripción incluye.
