D.O.C. Reline-It Advanced Denture Reliner Kit ( Pack of 2)

What I like most.... it works. What I like least... it's a bit too soft (just a tad), although I can live with that and have. I've used this product about six times at this writing with the last yesterday, deciding to review with my reorder:This is for the lower denture only since I've rarely used the Re liner on the upper.I wash my hands, mix, and allow the mixture to set for the prescribed three minutes then lift it as a mass from the square container to form it over my dentures. Using my fingers and not the plastic stick gives me a little more control. It's about the consistency of silly putty at this point. That's first.Once done I rinse after the "hot water soak" using the baking soda, then I do another soak using a denture tablet, followed by a final using Listerine. Those three combined rinses usually takes care of the after taste (don't forget a mouth rinses as well).Finally I use a single edge razor to trim so I don't shift or move anything after it's set. Most knives are not sharp enough to cut the rubber like material although an xacto (hobby) knife would also be suitable.

Just got this today and used it this evening. So far I like it, the process was very easy as long as you follow directions you should be fine. There was a hint of a burning sensation when I first put it in my mouth, but I just took it out for a couple of seconds and put it back in and the burning sensation was gone. The taste is nothing compared to the Prosoft or Permasoft that I have used prior to this. Those others had a taste that seemed to come back every time I took the dentures out for several days. Like having nail polish remover in your mouth, yuck! Only reason for less than 5 stars is I don't know how it will hold up since I just did it an hour ago :)

Was surprised to find out the 3 uses equals out to be one use. Very small amounts in each envelope. Also quality isn't as good as pack of 2.

If you have to say something positive related to having dentures, it's better than no teeth. That being said, this product has made having dentures a whole lot better. I had tried various other products with dismal success. This is the product I will stick with. I have used it for both upper and lower with great results. The last reline was approximately 6 months ago. I am hard on my teeth (ice eater) so I do wear the lining down a bit quicker than some others. I relined again today with excellent results. My very first time I accidentally skipped a 3 minute set time and the result was less than good.To be successful, follow the directions exactly as written. Use the freezer as directed. I now use a timer for each step.This is a great product.. My order was quick and at this price I have stocked up. As for the taste, it is one of the least offensive I have tried and it's gone quickly.

I was very careful to follow the instruction. Yet it lumps up. The test stays for ever all tastes like gasoline or other chemical even after 3 day of trying. I finally decided to pull it off after 3 days. to my surprise it came off so easily. The material did not even bond to denture.I am throwing out rest of the material. It was total waste of money, time and horrible taste in my mouth that don't go away.Only the bonding is horrible taste!

I purchased this in most part thanks to the review written by Cam. Then I followed the "tips" that was in his review. It worked like a charm. This may be premature, but the guy I was using for a Dentist at an "Affordable Dentures" place could not get my lowers to fit properly. They haven't since the day they were made. So after $160 for a new "reline", and seven 60 mile trips for "adjustments", I was ready to throw them out.Since I hadn't used this product, and since I had a spare set of lowers laying around, I got the spares out, mixed up a batch and relined the old ones. They were nowhere near a fit after all these years. Well, now they fit better than the ones the "professional" made and relined for me. This is a great product. For the first time in over two years my mouth doesn't hurt. I only hope it lasts. I may buy a bunch more and stockpile it before the government decides it works too well and takes it off the market!!

this is the first product I have found that really helps, I used it about a week ago, it has made a great difference with my dentures. I had no problem mixing or applying the product to my plates. I left the powder and the liquid in the freezer for about 10 minutes before starting the process. Followed the directions exactly, even down to using a timer for the waiting. The odor/taste is awful. I did the baking soda, warm water soak twice. But it did fade away on the second day. On the first day the odor was enough to gag me when placing or removing the plate, but not as bad while they were in place, I got through it and now they are fine.

This reline kit isn't that great if I had known it was just new packaging I would not have ordered this.

Very small amounts and pricing is a tad high!!

I followed the instructions to the letter but found that it was very hard to spread out, and not enough to cover my bottom set. As a result my dentures had a very poor fit in places. Yes, there is a burning sensation whilst you hang around for ages with the dentures in your gob waiting for the paste to set, but it wasn't too bad. The worst issue was the truly foul taste and smell. I used Sterradent, I used toothpaste, I used Bi-carbonate and water, I soaked them overnight and still the taste and strange smell continued so I gave up.
