Kenmore 2-Slice Toaster, Stainless Steel, Red and Silver, with Extra Wide Slots, Self-Adjusting Bread Guides, Defrost, Bagel and Removable Crumb Tray, Small (KKTS2SR AZ)

This is the most perfect, reliable toaster!! My research paid off. I noticed this Kenmore toaster was manufactured in 2022 so maybe that means it’s better quality than newer toasters. It toasts evenly -I think due to leveling guides in slots. Guides keep bread/bagels standing straight up so they don’t lean too close to heating elements. Solidly constructed and all components operate smoothly -lever to push toast down, defrost/bagel/eject buttons and temp dial -it’s not too loose. When toast comes up it does not fly out of toaster:). The 3-prong plug is 1 3/4” deep and has an extra thumb hook making removal from electrical socket easier. The electrical cord is nearest to the front toaster controls. Total cord length is 32” -but if you position toaster with controls facing you, the cord length is 24” from the toaster back to electrical outlet. I purchased 3 yr insurance for $11.99 to give me peace of mind.

We are very happy with this toaster. The bagel function is very nice for buns and split rolls. It toasts quite evenly for a reason reasonably priced toaster. It seems like many of them that cost more can’t be counted onto toast very evenly. We’re glad we ended up with this one!

So far am pleased with this toaster it has marks to let you know if you want dark, medium or light toast. The openings are large enough more more items to enter. Slices of bread have one side a bit lighter than other. But I have found this to be a good thing when making sandwiches. I would buy it again.

Beautiful toaster and toasts perfectly!

I am returning this Kenmore toaster. At one time, I could always rely on Kenmore products to be high quality and reliable. Not so, in the case of this toaster. The box was packed with little padding to protect the whole toaster and came with a big gash in one side. It went through the outside shipping box and through the box the toaster was in. The toaster had a big dent on the top that was very noticeable. I tried it anyway, as I was trying to replace my old toaster that just didn't work well anymore. So I plugged it in and found that it was very uneven in toasting - too light, too dark, not toasted, all on just one piece of bread. Sorry, Kenmore, I will not be buying any more of your products.

Purchased a red toaster. I feel the color, & toaster is attractive. The toaster settings & features are as described. I am happy with the quality of the product and purchase price. It has several toasting settings. So far I am Pleased with the toasting results.

I have to return this toaster, because its cord is too short to reach the plug at the top of my stove, from the location where I keep my old, partially malfunctioning toaster, which I wish to replace. I bought this new toaster for its nice white-silver colours, as I thought it would match my white kitchen nicely, but upon receiving it, I realized that I can't even plug it in and place it where I wish because its cord is significantly shorter than the cord of my old toaster. The constructions also seems more flimsy than it appears on the photo. For example, the up/down leaver wobbles slightly when pushed. My old T-Fal toaster is not as nice in appearance, but it lasted me 5 years before it began to malfunction, and it seems quite a bit sturdier in construction (made of thicker materials) than this one. Its lever does not wobble, unlike the lever of this one, and its cord is the right length for my kitchen, unlike the cord of this one.

I really like this 2 slice toaster. I bought it a few months ago after moving into a condo. It’s very light and easy to pull down from a cupboard. Easy to clean and gets rid of crumbs in a jiffy. I use it for toasting bagels. They always turn out perfect. I highly recommend this toaster.
