Excellent Starter Kit
Great starter kit, everything you need and great spray bottles. Foam cannon works really well, read some reviews that the plastic bottle for the foam cannon break at the thread so be extra careful when putting it down during use. Had this for about 3 months without any issue. 10 car washes after and still have enough car foam wash for another few washes. A little goes a long way.

The “I Guess We Detail Cars Now” Kit That Turned My Driveway Into a Foam Party
I bought the Chemical Guys 16-Piece Arsenal Builder Kit for my husband one Christmas because he had been talking about trying Chemical Guys products for a while. And me being me, I didn’t want to gamble on one bottle… I figured, why not just get the whole lineup and let him go full “weekend detailer era”? That year, I pretty confidently secured the title of “best gift giver,” and I’m still riding that win. First impression when you open it: it feels like a full system, not just random car products tossed in a box. Everything has its place and purpose, from the foam cannon to the microfiber towels to the bucket with the grit guard. It actually feels like someone thought through the entire process of washing a car from start to finish instead of just selling individual pieces. The foam cannon is easily the showpiece. Once it’s hooked up to a pressure washer, it turns into that satisfying thick foam situation where the car basically disappears under suds. It’s one of those things that makes you feel slightly overqualified for washing your own driveway vehicle. It works well at lifting dirt so you’re not just rubbing grime around, which makes the whole process feel a lot more controlled and less risky for paint. The included chemicals are a nice mix for getting started. You’ve got shampoo, wheel cleaner, and a few finishing products, and they all feel like they’re designed to work together rather than just being random add-ons. Nothing overly complicated—just straightforward products that do what they’re supposed to do. The bucket setup with the grit guard is one of those things you don’t think much about until you use it and realize how much cleaner your wash water stays. The microfiber mitt and drying towels also feel sturdy and absorbent, not the flimsy kind that fall apart after a few uses. Same goes for the detailing brush and applicators—everything feels like it can actually handle repeated use without immediately looking worn out. In terms of durability, the tools have held up well over time. The bucket is solid, the accessories haven’t fallen apart, and nothing feels like “one-and-done” quality. It’s more in that category of gear you can keep reaching for every wash day without worrying it’s going to give up on you halfway through. Functionally, it really does make the whole car wash process feel more intentional. Instead of just spraying off a car, it turns into a full routine—foam, wash, rinse, dry, finish. A little extra effort, yes, but also kind of satisfying in a way that sneaks up on you. If there’s a gentle caveat, it’s that this is definitely a “system” kit. You get the most value when you actually use it as intended with a pressure washer and take your time with each step. If you’re looking for a quick 10-minute rinse-and-go setup, this might feel like more than you need. At around $160, the value makes sense considering how much is included and how complete it feels. You’re not piecing together separate items or guessing what works together—it’s all already mapped out for you. Overall, this turned into one of those gifts that didn’t just get used once or twice. It became part of a whole hobby moment, and honestly, it still gets pulled out whenever it’s time to make the car look like it has its life together again. My husband is now a Chemical Guy for life.

Amazing product
If it is a hot day make sure car is not in direct sunlight, the snow foam will leave a film on the car if it is, not hard to clean off with a quick dry and quick detail spray or wax!!

After a little misfire with my pressure washer, I ended up using this kit the old fashioned way. I know that defeats half of the purpose of it, but for the time being this is my review... Overall the products I tested worked great. The soap and mitt are pretty standard as are the microfiber towels and as other reviewers have mentioned, it's a little silly that it only comes with one bucket when Chemical Guys advocate a two bucket system. You can pick up a semi-translucent paint mixing bucket from a big box store and another grit guard, but as my S/O's car was so filthy I figured anything at all would help- I also got to test it out on her car first :D I think that's a fair trade. I used the window cleaner, speed wipe, the silk shine on the trim, and some toothpaste for the headlights and got the car looking like it had had a professional detail job. Window cleaner left a streak free shine Speed Wipe went on easy and was akin to a Turtle Wax Ice- not a true wax, but a definite improvement over nothing at all considering it takes about 3 minutes to apply Silk Shine had the dash and trim looking brand spanking new. Not sure if it's much better than Armor All, but I prefer the smell and application was a breeze Took a while, but the car looks as good as I've ever seen it. I probably took 3 years of wear off with one wash and light detail if you could even call it that considering the products I used. I definitely recommend this kit- I think it's a fair value for money, especially if you're just starting out and want to test the waters.
