I bought this specifically to help me travel light on budget airlines. I'm a size 10 woman so needed the extra small. Even then it was a bit big but once padded with items over a fleece it was usable. The best thing about this waistcoat is the big back pocket that can take an ipad - just remember not to lean back too hard when sitting! With all the other pockets I could have my travel docs and passport easily to hand plus all those fiddly bits and pieces needed for the journey. Absolutely fantastic and just what I wanted. Means I can save money on not having to buy extra luggage space, even for the overhead lockers which airlines like Ryan Air and EasyJet charge for. Just took a small holdall to fit under the seat on this last holiday. It looks OK too, in a sort of combat, ready for action kind of way. Can't wait to use it again on my next trip.

This is a great quality vest and the only downside to it was all the strands at the ends of the material inside the pockets… so when you go to pull things out, you also get long whispey threads entangled round everything! Very annoying!! So spend some time clearing all of it to save your blood pressure!Other than that… I would definitely recommend this item!

Plenty of pockets great item for price

I don't use it for fishing but still huge pockets and lots of them mean that whatever you do it will certainly be useful. Strong synthetic cloth means it will not tear easily or rot.

This gilet does work reasonably well can carry the odd lens and filters, it also has a back that can be removed to allow heat from your back to escape so avoiding a sweaty back.I would order a size larger than you would normally.

Ok, so, it's important to understand how this item and its tagging work. First things first, I'm glad I bought 2 navy. I use them for work, cos my work kinda entails carrying a lot of stuff in pockets, keys, pens, jotters, hand sanitisers, phones, and this item just works perfectly for it.Following the revised sizing of this item, I ordered the 5xl when I realised the uk tagging equivalent wasnt correct. 5xl is what I've always ordered. Have ordered this item 3x before but from different sellers. This time, I noticed the material has changed so it was a bit tight, wouldn't even go round my waist, I'm 22 uk by the way. So I returned it and ordered 6xl, came a bit tight, went round my waist but was a struggle a bit. I needed something comfy so I returned it. And then ordered this 7xl, I believe this must have come from China cos it took that long but I didn't mind waiting cos I needed it anyway. And I ordered 2 cos I figured from the fitting of the 6xl that 7xl will be perfect. I was spot on 👌🏽. It fit perfectly. So if you're UK 22-24, go for 7xl. If you can't find 7xl, forget it, it's gonna be tight and you might not like it. You might get away with 6xl if you're gonna wear it on a single t shirt, uhm. Now it still says xxxxl for uk but I'm not sure how they come up with those cos they're all wrong! I think they shld just remove that uk equivalent of the sizing cos it's just confusing people. Just keep the Chinese sizing, let's figure it out like that, it's easier.

Bought for my dad who is tech dinosaur he's a keen fisherman and is happy with it, sits nice, plenty of pockets hes happy with it.
