Safe for your pet and very quiet.
We have 2 robohamsters. They are quite small. The wheel that came with their cage was catching their feet when running. We opted for this new one and it is perfect. No open vents to catch their feet and very quiet and Smooth. A little pricey but a good buy when you consider it keeps them from getting injured.

Wobbly and Loud
This product unfortunately is not quiet. Upon receiving and assembling it I discovered that the parts that are supposed to attach the wheel to the holder do no sit right and that creates a lot of wobble and bangs into what ever is behind it when the wheel is spun. It also has a lot of resistance because of that, meaning my dwarf hamster will probably not be able to use this product. Very disappointing.

My son can finally sleep at night.
This was a life safer. The wheel that came with our cage was noisy and since the hamster ran all night, was keeping him up. This is completely silent.

Not as quiet as I would like
First, it didn't come with instructions and it took me longer than I would have liked to figure out how to put it together. But once I figured it out it went together easily.I have it attached to a metal cage and it isn't as quiet as I was hoping but definitely not as loud as others.

Wobbles like crazy - poor hamster can't stay in it
Get something else! This thing literally throws our hamster out when she gets running in it. Find a wheel with actual ball bearings - it's the only thing that will spin smoothly and stay quiet.

Bed quality!
The cap on the picture of the box is yellow one. But what I received was black. I think they’re not a set. And the quality is so bad! Don’t buy it!

Great for robo or small dwarf hamster. Deff not Syrian
My Dwarf hamsters love it so far. They love to climb up to the second story. The yellow thing is mostly used as a slide as it is too slippery for them to climb up. Great for robot or dwarf hamsters and maybe small mice. Not big enough for Syrian hamsters, rats, sugar gliders (I'm not sure about gerbils). Cheaper elsewhere, you can get these at Petco for $7 or less.
