Super fun paintable set for kids
My sons (ages 3 and 5) love these Melissa and Doug sets. This one did not disappoint, and several months later they are still playing with their special plant. I find the quality of the parts is good and the kids maintain interest in the toys they have decorated themselves over other store-bought items. Will definitely be buying more sets of other vehicles.

So Cute, Well Made...and Fun To Do!
It was a fun project to do and it "landed" as the top layer decoration on my daughters Baby Shower Cake - It was a aviation theme and I painted it in her colors of orange and blue. It is well made and assembly was very easy. i know that my grandson will enjoy playing it and all the other Melisa and Doug wooden toys we have purchased for him. I loe their puzzles as well!

Donated Toy that was a Huge Hit!
I donated this toy to a foster home after inspecting it to ensure it was safe. What a great toy! First you can paint your own jet, then it is a toy thereafter. I wish I had this growing up. I was told that this was a great hit at the foster home and it was well-received. I will be purchasing similar items in the future.

Fun way to pass time.
I left this project for the babysitter to do with my 5 year old. Not only did he enjoy it but my 7 y/o daughter did as well. The only complaint I have is that the wheels would not stay on very well. I plan to fix that with some wood glue.

good quality; simple instructions
I got this for my 5 year old. It was very simple to put together. He enjoyed painting and putting the stickers on. He could pretty much do the whole thing himself. It can be one in two sittings. First glue the pieces together and let it dry. Then in about 1/2 hour you can paint. Probably would be great for even younger--3 or 4.

Ok
This was gifted to my 5 year old for Christmas. He loved it. What boy doesn't like crafts, planes, and paint. It was great because he was able to make it himself. However, paint doesn't wash off well so make sure the child has adult supervision and wears an apron or old clothes that you wouldn't mind getting dirty. Also, for a toddler, they don't paint as efficiently as an older child, so the paint runs out fast (it comes with 4 small paint pods). After the parts are all painted, the glue does not stick well. I had to use gorilla glue which still did not adhere well to the painted surface. Would suggest gluing the pieces together before painting. Overall cute project.

Nice little project for a special-ed five year old
Last night we put this together before bedtime (about 20 minutes, dragging it out), and with promises that the glue would be dry by this morning my 5-year old went right to bed. There's nothing to it, and he pretty much figured it out himself. We painted the nose cone before school and will finish the rest when I get home... then stickers. You can drag this out as long as you wish or get it done quickly. The paints are wet and it would be easy for a kid to glue the wheels locked, so supervision is advised. My son has sensory issues and trouble with transitions. Bedtime is the worst, so I am glad this project had the desired outcome.I'll probably get a couple more of these for day when focus on an easy (and interesting) project is necessary to calm him down.
