This is a good quality replacement part. The top width is slightly bigger than the 3-3/16 inch drain grate that it replaced. But that's on me for not measuring before ordering. This part is as described and will still work for my application.

It fit and it works as it should

We recently had our backyard decking redone with grey pavers. As part of the project, we had drains installed. The contractor would only offer white or green drain covers. I searched online and found these. They are excellent quality and a very nice grey color that complements our paver color. I would highly recommend these if that is what you are looking for. The unfortunate part is that they are relatively more expensive compared to other colors that you can get at your local home centers.

I don't know anything about outside plumbing but when it rained the placement of my backyard French drain caused debris to make it worthless, I went to my GOTO source, Amazon. I saw this black, rugged drain cape at a great price. It arrived the next day and I installed it in less than a minute. It is a better solution than I had before and with some drainage work, I think I will be good when it rains. As of this writing, I am waiting for the rain.

This does NOT fit a 3 inch belled elbow, as shown in the picture.
