So when you actually get the product itself it is immediately noticeable that it is overly flimsy. The plastic is not right at all like you would expect a tool to be, it’s mailuable and weak. First time used I was using the spikes on the back end of the handle, the one that you would use to clean in between the cogs and the furthest tooth broke. It broke with fairly little pressure too, not like it was forcefully jabbed into something. In addition the bristles that you would use to clean the chain or any other part of the actual gears frayed out uncontrollably. If you use something like a park tool or any other namebrand by cleaning utensils you will notice that the bristles stay intact for quite some time before they begin to fray. I would highly Recommend looking into a tool if you’re going to buy something like this that is namebrand and not just a quick by. I made the mistake of doing a quick by and it has costed me my time money and frustration.

This did really well cleaning my bike chain (Trek mountain bike). I put my bike on it’s maintenance rack and held the brush against the chain while spinning the pedals and then went back and hit some of the dirtier spots with more of a scrubbing action. It made pretty short work of the debris.

Product is pretty durable not bad for the price! One of the best things I like about this product is that it comes with an extra brush and cleaner tool. A lot of sellers would only sell the brush so getting this is a nice incentive. Honestly you're getting a bang for your buck. Don't expect these brushes to last a lifetime, but they will get the job done and give you a good use out of them before they start falling apart. Would buy these again once they start waring out!

For the price you can't go wrong. I use it for bicycle chains and the extra length on some of the bristles seem to do a better job than bicycle specific cleaners. The gap on the U shaped cleaner is a little too wide for bicycle chains, but I just "twist" it a tiny bit and it works great. I'm giving 5 stars based on what I use it for, but I could not say for sure how they work on Motorcycle chains. I can't see why they would not work just as well though.

For the price of the brush I guess it's safe to say it's a one time use tool. As other reviews have stated, it does separate from the top half if used with too much pressure which is ridiculous if you're trying to clean all the grime of your chain. The bristles also warp out of shape.

I was looking for a better solution to clean my KLR 650's chain besides just a normal bristle brush. So far, this has done the trick. The three sided brush gets the job done quicker. The price is right to keep the chain happy and only time will tell as to how durable these brushes are/will be, but at $9 for the set, as long as I get a few cleanings out of them a year and they last a couple years, i'll be happy. A few extra bucks to keep one of the major components of my bike running, i'm ok with that.

I recently put on a new set of KMC chains for my bicycle and I found cobwebs all over the bike and the old chains. I used these brushes to brush off the old grime and spider webs off the chains and the spokes, then I happily removed the old chains and put on the new one. The U-shaped brush was especially useful since all I needed to do was rotate the crank arms and hold the brush there, and the chains will run through the brush and get cleaned!

USed this to clean 1 chain. It does do the job quite well. However after using it on 1 chain that wasn't even that dirty, the bristles are already bend flat. I think after doing 5 chains or so the bristles will be gone.
