As long as you don’t rub the cable against itself incessantly, it’s an amazing quality replacement. Feels super durable despite being thin and lightweight, and the length is so much better than stock. Sound transmits as well as before.

The cables works great after my cat chewed through the original. No sound quality issues. Cord length is a little short, but I like that -- it's not getting tangled up anywhere, with longer cords in the past I've had to wrap them up. My only 'complaint' is very minor: the cable is made out of two different materials. The part that connects to my DAC is a standard plastic feel while the chunk that plugs into my headphones are a more premium-feeling sleeved cable. This isn't really a problem but it strikes me as a little strange.

At first look they seems to be very plastic but when is connected they sound very good, they fits perfectly on AKG K240, and includes the 6.355mm adapter, great quality

Using this cable with my DT 770 Pro X and it works perfectly. Good build quality, solid connections, and no noise issues. Very happy with the upgrade so far.

As the title says, I bought this to replace the cable from my Behrdynamic DT 990 Pro X cable that my cat chewed in half. Works perfectly fine, the mini XLR plugs into the headphones perfectly, and the 1/4 adapter fits snug on the 3.5mm. Don't notice any change from the default cable that came with my headset, so sound quality is still good/the same. 4.9 ft (basically 5ft) is enough length to plug into my audio device, reach me sitting in my chair, and even gives just a bit of wiggle room to move around without having a big long cable dangling on the floor. The cable is a nice black thread with red inline, and the plugs are a gold and silver color. Definitely stands out on a black/grey headset but I personally love it. The lightweight threaded cable is also nice, but I just personally wish it was just a bit thicker for protection. Wishing the cable was a bit thicker is the only reason I'm giving it a 4 star and not 5. Other than that, these are perfect cables! Definitely worth the price.

Perfect replacement after the wire that came with my AKG712s fell apart after a decade. Sound is perfect and the mesh cable cover feels quality.

I bought a set of AKG K7XX open back headphones a few months ago (via Massdrop). They came with a decent-quality 10ft (!) cord, which I found WAY, WAY too long for regular use. Obviously I'd rather the cord be too long than too short, but still... 10 FEET LONG! It was unwieldy, to put it mildly. After a couple months of stuffing 7 feet of cord in my pocket, I finally decided to look for something more reasonable. That's where this 1.2m (4 foot) cord comes in. I was torn between this one and a similar one that had inline volume/track controls, but I settled on this one for the sake of simplicity... seems like fancy features are always the first thing to fail on such products. I wasn't sure what to make of this cord when I first got it. It's got a fantastic braided sheath, a metal spring for strain relief on the TRS end, and appears to have some excellent quality connectors on both ends. The 1/4" TRS adapter is screw-on, which I appreciate. The 3.5mm end connects solidly into all my devices without being ridiculously tight. And most importantly, the length is perfect. My only concern was the thickness of the cable. It seemed kinda thin compared to the 10 foot cable I was using before, and since I tend to use headphones with my HTC 10 without an external amp, I worried that I might lose some loudness through a thinner wire. Turns out my fears were unfounded. If anything, I seem to get more volume out of my phone now than I used to. I can listen comfortably at less than half volume, which gives me plenty of headroom. For the price, this cord is a downright bargain. If you're in a similar situation as I was and you're hesitating, don't. Just pull the trigger and order this. Mine arrived just in time to listen to the new deluxe re-issue of Faith No More's "We Care A Lot" album, and it's been an amazing listening experience.

At first this was a great replacement cable for my AKG K240 Studio headphones. I used them for about a week on a project then stored them away with my studio gear. I pulled them back out for another project about 3 months later and only the right side works. I cannot find a way to contact the seller to ask about a replacement or if the cable is under a manufacturer warranty and since it's past the 30 day return date on Amazon it looks like it's just a loss on my end. If the company was willing to give me a replacement to see if the quality on the new cable was going to last longer than a one week project, I'd be willing to try another New Fantasia cable. Otherwise, I would not be willing to spend my money on another one of these cables. I take great care of my cables and gear and cannot understand what could've happened to it other than faulty manufacturing. I also couldn't find a website or other way of reaching out to New Fantasia.
