These are great for "cardboard weaving", but much sturdier.

Perfect for weaving projects! I used these for a Girl Scout activity, and they were sturdy, easy to work with, and very useful for the girls.

I teach weaving to kids. This is a simple inexpensive way to that. I even cut then in half lengthwise for bookmarked weaving.

I am a teacher and I got these for my students because the cardboard looms are too flimsy. They bend and won't go back to straight, it was a nightmare. I thought, I need a sturdier material without spending a bajillion dollars for my students. These boards are pretty durable for their lightweight "craft wood" feels like basswood. They haven't warped with intermediate students using them and I've had these boards go through so many students and they're still basically straight and in 1 piece. We use these boards to weave with yarn, twine and fiber twists. No, no one has gotten splinters either.
