Emma and Colt had been high school sweethearts. The death of his parents changed his life. Emma kept pining for Colt. His sister's hometown wedding brought the memories back to both of them. The journey to realize they both wanted a family and a home was not easy. They had friends and family that supported them through it all. I am enjoying the Wedding Bells books.

The skies are the limit. But, in lies the problem. Reece, Colt’s best friend, is also Scott’s big brother. And well, let's just say, Colt and Reeve, don't like to lose.Teddy and Scott have already decided everything but the brothers both want them not to worry about expenses, which is a great sentiment. But, both brothers are trying to out do each other. Forgetting this is not their wedding it’s their siblings. So, remember it’s not a contest of junks to see who's is the longest.Emma who is the girl next door, literally speaking, is also a hidden secret of Colt’s. But, when the composition starts getting out of hand, she takes control to shut it down. Treating them like she does her preschoolers. Reece to great offense to her methods.This was a very good book. The characters had their faults but friends were there when they fell. But, were there when you need a kick in the but. You could feel the love, fear, and anguish as the emotional storms roll through.

Colt left his hometown to pursue his dreams even if it meant leaving his first love, who also happened to be his sister’s best friend, behind. Successful in business but not so much in love he returns for his sister’s wedding where he will have to face the past and the woman he left.Although Emma may still have feelings for Colt, she knows that anything between them would only end in heartbreak. He will be returning back to his regular life, and she is content with the life she has built in her hometown, but her heart doesn’t seem to listening.This is a heartwarming second chance at love that isn’t without its turmoil both when it comes to the wedding preparations and their feelings for each other as they try to forge a future that will make them both happy.

Wedding Bells continues with Colt's much awaited story!!! After his disaster of nuptials with him being left at the alter Colt is back in his small hometown for his sister's wedding. After graduating Colt fled to the big city with bigger dreams, but his success isn't going to keep him from making his sister happy, even of that means facing the one that got away. Emma loves her small town and her best friend Teddy, Colt's younger sister. Emma takes her job as maid of honor seriously, making sure Teddy gets what she wants. Nerves are high not just with preparations but with Colt and Emma coming face to face years after their high school fling. Unfortunately Colt's idea of a perfect wedding is different from his sister's. Reigning Colt in has Emma spending more time with him and their young loves flourishes into something untameable. Getting closure from the past is one thing but Emma is homesick from the jet setting with Colt. Life in the fast lane doesn't compare to having Emma in his arms. Can Colt convince Emma home is wherever she is or will he loose his one true love??? Real to life characters that have your attention from the start to the end. I love reconnecting with previous characters and the possible stories to come. His/her POV, no cliffhanger, and a beautiful HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I'm so hoping to see Reece in the next Wedding Bells book!!! Great job Weston!!!

Colt, VP of an international construction conglomerate, returns to his hometown walk his sister down the aisle after being left at the alter some months before, while Emma, the girl next door and his sister’s best friend, has to try to keep her thoughts on the wedding, not her former summer fling and the boy she has loved for most of her life. As the story progresses he tries to one up his friend, she puts her foot down for it to end, and for them to stay together there must be some bend. Weston Parker’s Mine to hold made me hold this one close with all the sweetness but also push it away when they were being dumb. There is one more story to tell in this friend group and it looks like it will be a doozy.I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Colt had big dreams and wishes he wanted to achieve after Highschool but couldn’t get out of his small town fast enough leaving everything and everyone behind including Emma his little sisters best friend and secret love interest. Years later after being stood up at the alter by your typical high maintenance city girl Colt is back in town for his baby sister’s wedding and seeing Emma after all this time knocks him on his ass. Emma now a small business owner never got over her crush on Colt. Seeing him after all these years kicks up those feelings. But when he left town he took her heart with him and she knows he’s leaving again and doesn’t want to risk taking a chance on love again. Can Colt realize how good he and Emma are before it’s too late? This book was great and had ties to the others in the series but can absolutely be read as a stand alone. Go grab your copy you won’t be disappointed.

This is a terrific story with a nice length - just right about Colt and Emma. Colt had just been left at the alter, and to rub more salt into his wounds, he needs to return home for his sister's wedding. When he sees Emma instead of feeling warm and fuzzy she just irks him. Emma lives next door to his sister and they had a secret affair years ago. He is so wound up in his hurt that he almost forgot he would run into his first love, Emma, who lives next door to his sister. They kept it quiet as Teddy is Emma's best friend and Emma thought Teddy wouldn’t take it well.

I have loved every book in this series except this one. I just couldn’t take to Emma. I gave up reading it fully. I just found Emma to be the one that was selfish & it had to be about her wants. It’s the only book I couldn’t finish & only skimmed through after half way through the book. But I did love Colt & the others.

Loved this book and the storyline of Colt and Emma was brilliant.Loved the connection between them both and so happy that Colt gave his 100% to Emma was he realised he couldn't be without her. Also loved that Teddy had always been Emmas best friend.Well done again Weston ❤
