No durability. Doesn't last.
The first few weeks it was fine. After a month the connection became slow and always disconnecting. Don't buy and save yourself the headache.

Signal suddenly lost
Just couple of weeks used, signal disappears then appears for both wired and wireless. Restarted/rebooted several times, all efforts in vain. Annoying

This router was straightforward to set up and for the price offers excellent performance on 5GHz and decent speeds on 2.4GHz. If you need a reliable router with modern features and few bugs and glitches, don't need a USB drive connector or an analog telephone then this is a solid choice, the best part being it is very low cost. If looking for a router for a 50-100Mbit internet connection and/or a lot of wireless connected devices, this is the cheapest, decent option I've tested and used. It seems especially suited to video streaming, as it suffers far less from pauses and stutters than others I have tried. One thing I was not expecting and pleasantly surprised by is regular firmware updates, for both bug fixes and performance improvements. These are provided fairly seamlessly via the net and installed via the user interface with little fuss. After living with other wireless routers that did not have firmware updates from one year to the next and were buggy and flaky this is a revelation. The performance and reliability out of the box was great but TP seem committed to ongoing support and improvement which is a breath of fresh air.

This device can only act as a router or access point, not as a repeater. It doesn't even have that option. It only has two options, but the product name indicates that it is a Wi-Fi repeater. You can't just take it and carry it to another room, plug it into an electricity there, and let it repeat your Wi-Fi signal; you have to lay a network cable to this thing.
