We tried a different brand when my daughter first got grips (while a compulsory), but they didn't feel "right". The level 8-10's recommended these and they became the only grips my daughter, an optional-level gymnast, will use. She likes the fit, grip on the bars, and hold up through countless practices and competitions. The leather is durable while still being comfortable once broken in, and they’ve consistently performed well. She usually gets 2 seasons out of a pair of grips, then we move them to the back up and get a new pair to break in during the off season. She also stronly recommends the dri-bands too!

My daughter switched to this brand this season and unlike the brand we previously used. One set of grips lasted all season without needing an emergency backup pair.

I purchased these recently for my daughter. She used maybe for 3 or 4 times at the gym when the buckle broke rendering them useless. Idk if we got an off pair but for a few dollars more I could have just purchased the other brand her gym recommended.

I was EXTREMELY weary buying grips on Amazon and not directly from the Reisport website but these are real! I had no issues with them tearing. I don’t throw any super hard skills, but they withstood a year of giants with no problems.

Great quality grips. True ro size. No weird smell. Comfortable to wear

We purchased these every time we have needed grips for the past 6 years. Other than changing the size and grips as they wear from use, we have consistently found these grips to the best. The double buckle keeps them very secure. Make sure you measure as instructed for the correct fit and always have a back up pair especially when they start to do bars more often and more advanced skills. You never want then to break and not have a back up pair and then you cant do bars or compete because your waiting for the new pair to come. Do not ever borrow a pair of someone else grip or let someone else use yours, Your grips will fit you exactly once they are worn in. It can be dangerous to use someone else grips. Check or have your coach inspect your grips often, sometimes they get very comfortable and its not really fun to break in a new pair but you can start to break in the new pair while you still have your old pair, before they need to be replaced. Of course you will wristband, We have always used drybands which help grip stay in place and you wont get wrist breakdown from sweating and chafing. The other thing to know is the color on the grips coordinate with the size, so they are the same its just they change the dot on them from say blue, red , yellow to tell you the size. So you pair may have a different color it the same style and brand you just maybe changed the size.

Very good and strong. Last one started to tear though. Could be dangerous if you are not checking before each use.

These are great and easy to break in. My daughter only had a week to break them in and won a silver on uneven bars at the Ontario Championships.🙂

Purchased a 2nd pair for my daughter as she outgrew her old one. She’s 12. The finger holes are a little too large for her - She needs to use tap or rubber band. This is one of the brands recommended by her coach.

My first pair were great! But the second pair that I ordered were two different sizes and quality. One was very stiff and the other was already very floppy. Although they both said size two when you measure them they were different lengths.
