Very efficient and easy to use monitor; also reasonably priced. A great investment in personal good health.

This monitor kit comes with all you need, including an excellent instruction booklet. It was accurate when I checked it with another monitor that I have and with the test solution that was included. It was easier to use than my old one and a great quality for the price.

At first, it took me some time to like it since I was newly diagnosed as a diabetic. However, I like that it was a complete set and connects to my phone. Instructions were clear. The best part was that the supplies were easy to order and subscribe to. In addition, there were glitches to the first time using it. I like the report form since it was convenient to give to the physician. But it was off for like 5 hours that I had to fix all the time. Contacted customer service and they replied as per 2 to 3 business days. At first they were going to replace the glucometer. In the end, they told me to keep it since the glitch was on their end. So convenient and easy to use that every time I visit. My physician was like “this is awesome” that I give her the month report. Will continue using this product. Love it! Subscriptions is convenient since it is complete with needles for the pen and glucometer strips. All you have to supply is.the alcohol wipes or wash hands prior to getting the blood sugar. Never used the meal or medication report since I was able to go from diabetic to pre diabetic with monitoring and dieting.

We got this after our cat developed diabetes, and it worked well. I can't comment on the accuracy because we didn't have anything to compare the numbers. The hardest part of using it was getting blood from our cat. It was often hard to get a whole drop of blood, and more often than not we had a tiny dot instead. As long as we got a whole drop of blood - not a lot - just one actual drop, it read the glucose perfectly. The strips sucked up the blood that was available, and the lancet worked fine. We kept it dialed to 5 for our cat as that seemed to be the depth we needed. However, when you have a cat who doesn't want to get tested and the lancet requires a couple of attempts to re-engage the needle, it is frustrating! If I have any complaint, that is it. Sometimes, it would take a couple of tries to get the button to pop back up so we could try for another sample. We also ended up needing a smaller needle to help facilitate getting a sample, but again, this was for a cat so I doubt a person would have the difficulties we had. All-in-all, it's a complete kit, easy to use, easy to store, everything is right there in one spot, and it worked reliably for us. So my recommendation is to buy it. If we were happy with it while trying to get a sample from a cat, I'm guessing you'd be happy using it too.

I bought this kit to monitor my diabetic cat's glucose levels because taking her to the vet for glucose curves is so expensive. Here are my observations: -it was easy to program the digital tool's date/ time and easy to decipher the codes it shows on the screen. -I didn't download the app, so no comment on how easy that is to use -it took me several tries to get a drop of blood big enough for the test strip (if there isn't enough blood on the strip, the monitor errors out and you have to start over). -I first pricked the outside of my cat's ear with the lancet on a low setting, near the edge of the ear where there is a blood vessel. I got a few drops that way, but got better results (larger blood drops) turning the lancet to 5 and pricking a paw pad. -it was reassuring to do the control test with the little bottle of solution to confirm that the monitor was calibrated correctly before recording actual results.

I love it. It was so easy to operate. Even connecting with the app was really easy. I would recommend.

The auto sync with the phone app was the decisive factor in choosing this product. The was interface was clunky but I finally got the hang of it. However the sync feature is buggy and it failed after 2-3 months. I called support. They said pull out the device battery to reset it. That would have dumped the 6 weeks of data I had entered previously so I didn't do it. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. That didn't help. I appreciate that supplies cost less than most other brands. I'm not fully confident in the accuracy of the glucose readings. They were off more than 20 points from another brand I had on hand. Update 4/23/25: Just bought 3rd one of these after the 2nd one failed after about 1 year. The price is great for the starter kit that includes the meter, 25 test strips, test solution, lancets, lancing device and carry/storage case. It's possible that the 2nd device failing was due to the battery; the check battery icon flashes, so I put in a new 3V coin battery from my supply. According to my battery tester both the old battery and the new (old stock) battery were good.
