I have very sensitive skin that turns bright red with the slightest irritation. This exfoliating cleaner is very gentle and removes dead skin cells without scraping healthy skin underneath. It’s soft and can be used even on my eyelids. I highly recommend it to anyone who has oily skin at any age that wants to be able to apply make up without it looking like it landed on a dessert because too much moisture was removed. I’m 50 and for us mature gals, add some light moisturizer after cleaning and make up applies like I’m 30. Highly recommend!

So I have very sensitive skin and had been having an issue with slightly rough skin in some spots and little acne spots. Firstly I need to say that I was blown away when I used this the first time. My skin was super soft, that being said I DID moisturize after with the cream because my skin is notoriously dry and angry at the world lol. I started with twice a week(may have been a little bit touch combined with my cleanser which I use once a week as it dries my skin out alot when I do wash it. Overall this is a great little exfoliator and you don't need much product for it to do its job. The smell is a little diffrent but not terribly unpleasant. It can be used on wet OR dry skin as well which is nice.

These ingredients are highly rated, and this does a good job.And it was very reasonably priced.

I absolutely love the exfoliator. It's been so great for my sensitive skin on my face. It doesn't burn and it moisturizes immediately. However - I was keeping mine in the shower and water had gotten in the cap and I realized it grew mold inside the cap. I didn't see any inside the actual product, but just be aware that you need to keep it somewhere it won't collect water. I've never had any other issues with bath products and keeping them in the shower until now.

Yes, indeed, it has a foul odor, and I almost didn't use it at all due to the odor of this "fragrance free" product. I only used it a very few times, and never on consecutive days despite the odor. The worst is that it has caused my lips to get sore, swollen, and painful even though I was very careful and didn't get the product near my lips. Unfortunately it makes my eyes blurry as well. My skin didn't seem to have any particular issues with the product, but didn't seem to improve my skin either. I've never had problems with other Aveeno products, so I'm surprised with these adverse reactions with this product.

I bought this because I have rosacea and needed a gentle exfoliator. The product has a really light scent that reminds me of cedar. It’s very creamy but not very soap like so I found that I have to use a little more. It doesn’t have any harsh particles in it which is why it’s so gentle. When trying to wash it off, it made my face feel slightly oily but clean at the same time. It didn’t get rid of the small amount of peeling skin I had but it also didn’t dry out my skin. It may not have worked that well for me but may work better on someone else’s skin.

My skin is extremely reactive, proven to flushing, rosacea, and the flaky thing from mites if I use too creamy of product. Sometimes it’s hard to tell if I’m having extremely dry flaking, or mite flaking. For the past couple months I’ve tried everything- sulfur cream, vain cream zinc soap, redness relief, barrier restore, etc. I’ve never used a chemical exfoliant because they’re contraindicated for rosacea EXCEPT this kind! But this is extremely hard to find. I used it one time and all the dry skin on my cheeks and eyes slugged off! I will definitely keep using ☺️ usually chemical exfoliation works well leaving it on the skin- I left if on 3 mins no problem. I may try 5 mins next time, probably in a week. Find what works for you but don’t sleep on this cheap, effective, product

This has been an amazing addition to my routine. I have allergies to most fragrances, so finding a product with little to no smell has been a challenge. As other reviews have mentioned, there is a slight "odor" that may come from one of the oils (oat? sunflower?) but it's really not a bother and doesn't trigger me. As far as performance, it really is gentle enough for me to use it every day. I wish it had more of a "drugstore price" point, but it's good bang for your buck. My skin looks smoother and feels more plump and nourished even in the dead of winter. I'd give it a go, especially if you have dry, sensitive skin or allergies to fragrances. I'll definitely be trying more from this product line!
