Bovine Colostrum

Great product so far and my dog is doing well with it. I can't say if it has helped yet since she also gets a mushroom powder in her food too. My ONLY complaints about this are 1) the microscopic text on the jar - how the heck is anybody supposed to be able to read text this small? And 2), yes, there IS a little scoop inside. But it is buried so deep, don't even bother trying to fish it out! If you DO attempt to fish it out, hold the jar over your pet's bowl because the powder is going to go EVERYWHERE, and this stuff is too expensive to lose any! I got sick of the mess every day so I finally just got some painter's tape and taped the scoop to the top of the lid, and now I keep it in the fridge like that. Works better and no more mess. I stumble over an article about colostrum and i had tried so many things over the last 5 years, so i thought "what the heck", lets give is a shot. I also had changed my dogs food to no kibbles at all and i cook chicken and fish with vegies and rice, it got somewhat better over time, but never really good all together. But this Colostrum WORKS, it is awesome!!! I noticed after feeding only one week in the morning right after he got up that his skin stopped flaking and itching. After feeding it for 4 weeks now, his skin is great, hair is growing back, energy level much better, all together much more alive. He loves the taste, he gobbles it right up (i mix it with warm (not hot) water). I will keep going with this for sure, this is going the right way. Finally relive from this crazy circle of itch, runs all the time, belly ages, sore feet and depression. My dog is a different dog after just 4 weeks. Thank you "RAW PAWS"!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would give 5 stars but there was no scoop, I really dislike when there isn't a scoop designed for the product dosage included w/purchase. Based on comments it seems to be a common theme hit or miss w/the company leaving out the scoop. W/the complaint over, I have to say this colostrum has been very helpful to my animals. The cats love it. One cat tries to eat it directly out of the jar. Their coats seem shinier, and they seem more alert...or something. I was hoping it would help my one cat w/vomiting issues, but so far that hasn't happened. I am still giving it some time. My dog will eat it mixed in w/his food, apparently it doesn't have a bad taste or smell to him, and he is one picky guy, so I am thrilled I can get something helpful in him w/out a battle. As w/any new product I introduced it slowly, and I am still not using the recommended serving for him. My dog has had digestives issues for months, we have done diet/food changes, fought over eating probiotics etc. and nothing was really helping. At first the colostrum seemed to give him a little diarrhea, but to be fair it is hard to say because he was already having trouble w/loose stools but yet being constipated at the same time. Anyway, it has been a month now of using this product and I am happy to say for the first time in a long time my dog is having a decent somewhat normal poop w/out struggle. A good poop means everything! It has to be the colostrum because it is the only new thing I have added to his regime in a while. Also need to add he is an older dog w/other health issues. Over the last few days I have seen little boosts of energy and perks of happiness I have not seen in him in a while. He wants to chase the ball! I really like this product, but I do recommend starting gradually using less to introduce it to your pet. It is a golden color, light, fluffy, a little is going a long way w/three animals. No complaints for the quality and price. It definitely seems to be doing some good. I am happy to have found something that is helping my critters after spending ridiculous amounts of money of things they refuse to eat to get them through the aging process. Now please, do not go changing anything, when you have a good product and price leave it alone so you will get repeat customers.

Takes a while, but sure does work. My doggy has beautiful skin and hair and very healthy.

I have no idea what my dog is slightly allergic to but she was shedding like a mad woman and had flakey skin down her entire back. Also she was the doggiest dog smelling dog I’ve ever had the experience of existing around. Tried all different types of food, shampoos, and spoke to her vet and we couldn’t narrow down a single thing that was making her have these reactions. Then I bought this. Within a week there was less shedding and her skin was much better. Her stink has dwindled considerably too. It’s definitely helping because if I run out and forget to order more she goes right back to being crusty.

I haven't seen a change in my dogs health or allergies.

I adopted a dog who's gut was way out or whack and he also has some allergy issues. I've used Colostrum in the past to help with itch relief, skin and gut health so I knew it would help this dog. I also trust Raw Paws since I've been buying their products for years now. There quality of products is very high.

This product smelled rancid after about 2-3 days. One dog didn't want to eat her food and then vomited afterwards for two days until I quit giving her this product. Another dog wouldn't eat for three days (he's already ill with cancer, so we thought he just didn't have an appetite). Once the smell of the product became more rancid and we quit giving it to the second dog, he ate fine. The only reason I didn't initially think it was because of a bad product, is because a third (apparently iron-gut) dog ate fine and had zero reaction.
