Actually really works well, its actually way faster than my brita filter, thats only 2 liter and takes all night to filter water. In about three hours it distills a gallon of water,it taste a little flat but it gets rid of that bleach flavor that reminds me of pool water, and sometimes my tap water comes out a little purple or blue and this get rid of that too. I tried setting it right at 212 for waters boiling temperature and it worked but I also tried just leaving it at the start up temperature which is like 230 Fahrenheit and it also worked just fine. It says it has an auto shut off but I've never really trusted auto shut off switches with something with a heating element so I haven't left it running overnight yet. It ridiculous how much limescale builds up on the bottom, i just think wow I've been drinking all that, im surprised I have gotten kidney stones. It come with citric acid to clean that stuff off but I just used a paper towel soaked in vinegar. Only thing is once or twice it built up pressure and pushed the top up and spilled a little water on the counter though not a big deal and doesn't happen often. I like it and it was way cheaper than a reverse osmosis machine and you don't need to buy filters, not noisy at all and easy to use pretty much just pour in a gallon of water and turn on.

Great water distiller! I use distilled water a lot especially in the winter for humidifiers and for cpap machines and sometimes it is hard to find it at the grocery store. This device works great, I usually get 2-3 gallons per day done (takes 4hrs and 10 mins per batch). Cleaning is easy with the citric acid and the glass carafe is sturdy and more hygienic than the plastic one. Definitely worth it !

So far it works very nicely, water tastes very clean, I think it’s safe to use but wouldn’t leave the house with it on because of how hot it gets, it’s normal with these equipments. However it takes 3.5 hrs to distillation and gets my RV super hot, don’t love that. I wish it was faster

First unit just boiled water, upper top has a fan that never came on. Second unit works and has been constantly running, works well, and will run daily for a while to ensure function. Distills water a gallon in about 3 hrs using 750 watts. Great for making distilled water! Worth the hundred bucks if it last a year distilling water!

It worked until it just didn't. My previous one, which was around the same price, lasted over 6 years before getting left behind in a move. I triple checked that everything was connected and closed properly. It would turn on and heat up but not distill. It was still under warranty, so I contacted Vevor. At first, they sent a "circuit board accessories" and a video to take it apart and fix it myself. But that was shipped 3/15. The last tracking location for it was leaving CA on 3/20. As of today (5/12) there still hasn't been any new movement on it. Because they shipped Smartpost, only the shipper can file a claim. In April, I asked them to do so and to ship another one asap. After a week or so of back and forth, with them proving completely useless information (such as suggesting I contact FedEx, despite me already telling them that only the shipper could do that) they finally said they would send a replacement distiller. I requested that it be shipped faster since I'd already been waiting so long. They agreed and said it would arrive in 2-6 days. It was mailed, via Smartpost, on 4/15. FedEx estimated the deliver would be 5/9. So definitely NOT 2-6 days. The last tracking location was leaving CA on 4/24. So once again, my package disappeared into the ocean. They keep sending me messages that they are closing my claim, so I have to keep telling them no because it hasn't arrived yet. I have an entire collection of "thanks for your patience" and "don't worry, we are looking into it" emails from them, but no distiller. All this to say, the distiller isn't any good and neither is their customer service.

I purchased this distiller about four months ago and I've been producing a couple of gallons per week of distilled water since then. Overall, I am pleased with the design and features -- I am especially happy with the timer feature that keeps it from boiling dry and building up crud in the bottom -- and it works well when it is working. However, a couple of weeks ago it inexplicably stopped working; the panel wouldn't light when it was plugged in and nothing seemed to work to get its attention. After a couple of hours to diagnose the problem, it turned out to be that the somewhat flimsy fuse holder that is built into the main power cord connector was broken, and no power could flow through the fuse as a result. Even worse, it appeared that someone had previously and ineptly attempted to solder the broken part of the fuse holder back into place. It took a bit of work to get it properly soldered back together (it was a very tight fit to get my soldering iron into the teeny-tiny fuse holder, but I managed it), and now the distiller is working again. However, upon opening it up to work on the inside of the power connector, I could see that many of the other components are of equally marginal quality, and I suspect it is only a matter of time before something else fails. Nevertheless, when it is working, it does the job well. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't been able to diagnose the problem and repair it myself.

Me encanta este producto, es el mejor de su clase! He tenido varios otros a lo largo de los años y este es el mejor hasta ahora. Funciona exactamente como debería y no llegó roto!

Solo tuve un problema ya que no cierra como debe y al principio tuve muchos incovenientes con este . Le hubiera puesto un mejor resultado si no fuera por eso

Ik ben heel tevreden met dit distillatietoestel! Werkt snel en goed . Gedaan met flessen water sleuren en eindelijk proper water ; daarna weer mineraliseren met keltisch zout et voila !

Voor het distilleren van kraanwater. Het gedistilleerde water is veel voller van smaak en glashelder.
