I brought this product unsure about it's function, but once I used it for a presentation at work, I was amazed and very pleased. The battery life last a long time and the setup is easy with great connectivity. The size and quality is helpful. I highly recommend this product.

Maybe it's just me. I don't know.I have several presentation remotes as I do public speaking events three to four times a week. I after several years of doing this, my Radio Shack remote with all of its scotch tape holding the battery door on was just getting worn out. Yes folks, Radio Shack. It's been that long.I ordered the remote for a couple of reasons. 1) I wanted a longer range for my remote 2) The green laser 3) It was rechargeable.Before I cover the features I listed above, let me provide my biggest gripe about this remote. This may just be me so don't negate this device just from my review but.... For some reason, in my head, on this remote, I should hit the top arrow button to advance to the next slide. If I want to go back a slide I should hit the bottom one. On this remote, the advance to the next slide or animation, you press the second button from the top, the down arrow. Perhaps it emulates a keyboard but in my head... Maybe I'm just backward.The features I was looking for worked out well. The range seems a bit longer than the one I had before and I've had no issues with using the remote on stage while my mac is in the back of the auditorium in the sound booth. The green laser is very bright for the remote's lightweight and small size. You can't miss it on a projector screen. As with most TVs, this green laser is eaten by a TV and can't be seen. The rechargeable nature of this remote is awesome. It's not USB-C, instead micro USB but still an awesome feature. No more spare batteries or 'oops, I'm out of batteries' to worry about.One word about its size and weight. I have big hands and this thing is light as a feather and VERY slim. It is almost like holding a pencil in your hand. This is also not a deal killer, but know that you may forget you are even carrying the thing, it is THAT light.

It was truly plug and Play, and even a Luddite like myself made it work. I did get green because I thought it would show up on more services and show up better, but it doesn't show up on a large screen TV. Hopefully my presentations will be on some sort of surface where the green works. I don't remember if the description said it would not work on such surfaces.

need batteries. It does as expected. So not really a deal breaker. But you know! I bought a rechargeable presenter around the same price. I keep this one for back up. These little buggers could go missing quick.
