Performs all stated tasks well, but needs an adapter to read microSD or miniSD or TF cards
I bought this even in the absence of other reviews because it has the features I actually want. I have tested it briefly, as follows:1. USB ports do see an attached USB drive, and read it2. HDMI port does display the screen via HDMI connection to a monitor3. VGA port does display the screen via VGA to a monitor4. Card reader does read an SD card. It does NOT read a mini or micro SD card (or TF card) without an adapter to SD card size, therefore only 4 stars.It looks nice and seems to be well constructed, but I have no way to assess durability since I just received it.

I didn't have to when I used a different dongle like this before
I tried VGA and HDMI. Both of them didn't work with my macbook and a projector. Is it supposed to be work right away when I plug? Or I have to set up something on my laptop. I didn't have to when I used a different dongle like this before.I don't understand. want a return...
