Perritos (Doggies) (Spanish Edition)

The book came slightly askew as if packaged or treated poorly. After a few weeks of setting things on top, the cover is finally staying closed and the weird flattening of the spine seems to look more normal. I like the book, but give yourself time to make sure the product isn’t damaged if buying for a gift!

I bought the book in Spanish by accident but it has been fun reading it in Spanish. I am glad I made the mistake.

We are raising our childrne bilingual, I speak Spanish and my husband English, and we know it is important to have things in both languages. I like this book and other similar ones because they are fun and they are actually something they will like to use just for fun, without thinking of the language. I know it is important that it comes naturally to them to choose Spanish over English, because English is obviously much more present around us, so, I like that this book can be something appealing to them. It looks silly and makes you all use Spanish around it, which is all the purpose of using Spanish with them.

My 10-month-old has a pretty short attention span these days, but she loves dogs and therefore loves this book and "asks" for it often. I like it too. I suppose it could get tiresome with all the barking, but I try to get into it, and Boynton gives parents a break here and there (skipping some dogs or, my personal favorite, the "6 perros callados" page where nobody barks!). My daughter's favorite parts are on "6 perros callados" when I make a loud "SHHHH" noise, and "9 perros en una noche de luna" when they (I) howl at the moon. She laughs every time.

Creativo y divertido.. Sencillo.

I got this book for one of my bilingual nephews and he loved this book! It's also always a good idea to buy a board book when there are pretty young kids (ages three and one) in the house. It came on time and it won't get destroyed for years to come I think!

Not many actual words in Spanish, lamentably. I’m happier with other translated books that actually have more than different animal sounds. In this case this cute book just has different “raff raff” and “guau guau” dog-sounds written which can be fun but not very educational.

Gave this to my baby grandniece in Spanish and also in English, and she is learning to count doggies/perritos in 2 languages at once. Mami and Dad were delighted with the gift.

A great Spanish book for little readers

I am a native Spanish speaker raising my child in London. I am trying to establish Spanish as my daughter's first language by speaking to her in Spanish and of course, reading to her as well. Perhaps the English version is better, but both books I bought by this this author in Spanish are by far the two worst books I've ever purchased. Very sad given both my Daughter and I were quite excited to read about the dogs (the other book was Good Night Everyone).

Unsere Kinder wachsen zweisprachig auf (ich spreche Deutsch, mein Mann Spanisch), ich habe spanische Bücher gesucht und bin auf die Pappbilderbücher von Sandra Boynton gestoßen - die perritos sind entzückend! Es ist keine wirkliche Geschichte, man sieht einfach auf jeder Seite einen Hund mehr, der bellt (das Bellen ist bei jedem Hund anders und halt auf Spanisch, also steht statt "Wuff" und "Wau" und "Grrr" halt die spanische Entsprechung für Hundelaute), aber die Zeichnung und die Details sind so liebevoll gemacht, dass man das Buch einfach immer und immer und immer wieder ansieht. - und dadurch dass es eben KEINE Geschichte mit komplizierter Handlung gibt, kann auch ich das Buch vorlesen, weil zehn unterschiedliche Hundelaute kriege ich hin. ;-> - Unsere beiden Kinder haben das Buch mittlerweile ziemlich kaputtgelesen und wir haben es auch schon als Babygeschenk in der Verwandtschaft nachgekauft.

Anche questo così così , magari da abbinare a un’altro durante le letture serali in spagnolo perché non racconta una storia . Molto colorato e di buona qualità ma il contenuto non super
