Can someone tell me why this item is so expensive?

It is an xBox bundle, so it can be used with an xBox, but most Fanatec equipment is for serious sim racers. As in the folks that have an iRacing subscription, and regularly compete in a league or for thousands in prize money. For someone who isnt using a pc really worth it?  I have a Thrustmaster now, is it a little better or significantly better?

It's like going from a toy to something real.  I'm not sure how else to explain it.  Every piece works so much better.  The brakes have a 60lb load cell so it's not distance based.  The shifter actually rests naturally between 2nd and 3rd gear.  Not like thrustmaster that sits awkwardly between 3rd and 5th gear.  Also it has a lock out for reverse and seventh so you can find gears naturally.  The wheel is actual size and all the materials used feel real.  Then the feedback is as intense as I would want.  You can actually recover from slides because you can feel it with this.

its fit only for two holesin next level stand  and you need 3 or 4  for for steady mounting. need to screw by yourself or in  middle of the game you just can stay with wheel base in your hands
