This product was recommended to me by an Ayurvedic practitioner who did not receive any type of benefit or compensation for doing so. Simply put, it is amazing. I am finally getting around to writing a review for this product. I suffered from sinus infections and seasonal allergies for more than 20 years (I am a 40 yr old woman) before learning about this product 2 years ago. Every cold or cough I would ever get would spiral out of control and I would end up back at the doctors office getting antibiotics of every type to alleviate the symptoms. In addition, I was doing nasal rinses 2 times a day. I was even using inhalers for the cough symptoms when it would get really bad. So, I took it as directed (2x day mixed in my hot herbal or green tea) for weeks when I was experiencing congestion in my chest, throat and sinuses. It cleared things up and I can honestly say that I haven't had a sinus infection or congested cough since. The post nasal drip I experienced for years is also completely gone. No more constantly clearing my throat feeling. Gone. I barely take Claritin or Allegra now for seasonal allergies which rarely flare up now. I am attributing this to the Sitopaladi powder. In addition, while my sons are not big fans of this (ages 11 and 13), I make them take it with a spoonful of honey and lemon when they are under the weather and experiencing similar symptoms. The practitioner shared that this is commonly given to children in India when they are ill. I have not tried other brands, but will note that the Ayurvedic practitioner I saw did recommend this brand over others due to the quality of ingredients. I was suffering for several weeks with what was eventually diagnosed as a viral infection. Thought it was a sinus infection, and any manner of other disorders, but nope. Doctor couldn't offer me anything other than Mucinex, fluids and plenty of rest. I ordered this Banyan Botanicals Sitopaladi powder. It should be mixed with warm/hot water and taken like tea. It is actually a nice cinnamony-cardamom flavor (which I personally enjoy). After 2 days of drinking this tea twice daily, I started to feel some upper respiratory relief, i.e., I could actually breathe! While the Mucinex cleared the gunk in my lungs, it didn't clear the stuffed head I continued to suffer from. This is where the Sitopaladi powder kicked in. Gosh how I take nose breathing for granted.

Since I was going on week three of being miserable, and had nothing but time on my hands, I ordered this Banyan Botanicals Sitopaladi powder. It should be mixed with warm/hot water and taken like tea. It is actually a nice cinnamony-cardamom flavor (which I personally enjoy). No matter how much it is stirred it, will leave a bit of gritty residual in your cup. The manufacturer makes note of this beforehand, so I knew what to expect. Works great to clear my sinuses on a daily basis. My brother used it during a virus and it dried him up and made him feel better fast.

Our kids get much better after taking this for a couple days. My chest congestion and throat pain improved significantly also. Very good product. Thank you.
