CERAKOTE® Rapid Ceramic Paint Sealant Spray for Cars, 14 oz kit

I’ve used it several times and it works great. The shine is really good, even on matte and satin paint. It went on very easily and I had no issues with it adhering to the paint. I didn’t use it on anything that will ever be outside but based on my previous experience with Cerakote products I would say the durability on an automobile would be vastly superior to most of the cheaper ceramic coatings.

I used Cerakote on my brand new truck. It applies and buffs off easily. The paint is now very slick and shines better. It seemed to work well on the black plastic trim without making it oily or too shiny.

My husband loves this stuff. Spray it on, wipe it off and you get a beautiful wax shine. No more rubbing forever with those paste waxes in the can. It seems to last a long time. No odor, and very effective for beading of rain off car. Recommend.

Short term review. Long term to follow. The good: Great shine, and by shine I mean raising the color depth bar a couple of notches compared to other products I have used. I had my wife's car "detailed" and the young man who performed a clay bar cleaning prior to finishing with a coat of "ceramic" containing wax. Meh on the results. A couple days later I applied this product and was actually impressed. Very easy to apply and wipe off. No streaking or "rainbow" patterns. Wiped off VERY easily. Stunning (yes I said stunning) color and shine 2-3 hours later and the next day compared to whatever he used on the SUV. As mentioned in the application instructions, give it time to fully "dry" for additional visual benefits. I then used this product on my 11 year old SUV which was first cut and polished mechanically to remove fine and deep scratches in the clearcoat. Already looking good, the same result that was seen as with my wife's SUV. Deep gloss that improves more after 2-12 hours. Glass like - stunning. Reading the available info, you can recoat after a day for additional shine. That could be interesting. Given the bottle goes a very long way (2 mid size SUV's) and plenty still left. I'll try this after the next wash given how easy it is to apply. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. The included microfiber towels are a great benefit. Good quality. Good value for the price. The BAD: the pump started to fail by the end of the first SUV completed. This STINKS as when working it produces a really nice mist. Not to much, not to little. Listen up manufacturers - FIX THIS, because otherwise it would have been 5 stars. I considered giving it 3 stars, but can't deny how easy it is to use and visual results. The other BAD: you will have to check back on longevity of the results. Sorry. Note: I'm a bargain hunter, so if this lasts as long as more expensive competitors, I'll call it a win win. The GREAT: Application and wipe off are amazingly easy. Use one towel for wiping on and spreading after misting, then use the "dry" towel for wiping off. No elbow grease required. Easily a quick detailing option for a clean car, I’ll be throwing out my OLD bottle of Maguire's quick detailer, though I use their products which appear superior for the interior. Based on research I may also give Crystal Serum by GTECHNIQ a try if I want to spend $$$ for longevity, if this doesn't hold up as advertised.

Cerakote goes on easily and leaves a streak free finish that beads water like crazy. I swear by this product and use it on my 38 Chrysler Royal Street Rod leaves a streak free high gloss finish. It lasts for quite a while for a number of washes but you do have to reapply it every once in awhile your mileage may vary based on the number of times you wash your vehicle.

I’ve tested several ceramic paint sealants from Amazon, including some much more expensive brands, and CERAKOTE Platinum Rapid Ceramic Paint Sealant Spray is the clear winner. Right after washing my car and applying this product, you can immediately see and feel the difference. The paint looks deeper, glossier, and has that slick, hydrophobic feel. Um - not sure if my paint is just past the point of shining up all over or I may need to apply it several more times, which I will do, and adjust my words if it improves. But there are portions of the car that are still “roughened” feel instead of smooth. (After three coats, waited two hours in between as suggested.. but the parts of the car that were not rough to begin with, the product worked as intended most likely. For this I would give three stars. The two star rating comes into play because when I tried to use the sprayer the whole thing fell apart. I tried for ten minutes to put it back together so it wouldn’t fall apart again but nope. It is unusable. So I had to buy another sprayer, pour the sealant into that, and I used that. Perhaps it isn’t giving me the spray and thickness that the original sprayer was going to give me, but as you see it was unusable. So overall I would say 2.5 stars, but because I must decide between two or three I put two here just so you can see my troubles above. I’m sure if you start out with a pristine car to begin with, and keep this product on it, it must work as intended. But for me, and for my vehicle, it’s a 2.5. Sorry

I used this product on a Toyota Solara that is in the sun constantly. The paint was beginning to fade and this product stopped the process and restored the shine. It is incredibly easy to use, once you thoroughly dry the car and apply the spray in the shade. I will be using this on all my cars. Only McGuires ceramic wax is easier, but it is not as long-lasting

Selbst nach einem Regenschauer und anschließender Sonneneinstrahlung bleiben keine kalkhaltigen Rückstände zurück, die den Lack angreifen könnten. Pro-Tipp für die Anwendung Obwohl das Produkt bereits eine starke Performance bietet, zeigt die Erfahrung: Ein leichtes Nachpolieren nach dem Auftrag lohnt sich. Dies maximiert nicht nur den Spiegelglanz, sondern sorgt auch für ein gleichmäßigeres Oberflächenfinish und verstärkt den schützenden Effekt spürbar. Fazit Das CERAKOTE Ceramic Paint Sealant hält, was es verspricht. Wer Wert auf ein Fahrzeug legt, das bei jeder Witterung wie frisch aufbereitet aussieht und gleichzeitig den Pflegeaufwand minimieren möchte, kommt an dieser Versiegelung kaum vorbei.
