These mounts work a lot better than the mounts that come with the Arlo Cameras when you buy them new. And they are a lot easier to adjust to position. Arlo should supply this with the Cameras instead of the other ones that come with them which are a pain to adjust.

I was afraid the bearing would loosen up causing my camera view to be off from where I want it, but it stays well, easy to setup, and perfect for mounting outdoors.

These are not strong enough to hold up the Pro 3 camera. Mine are constantly falling out of position. Very frustrating.

Good mount, makes it easy to use external power cord with Arlo Pro. Other mounts do not. Also gives some additional security over magnetic hemispheres since the camera is not as easily removed.

The ad says that it will fit a Arlo Pro 4. It will not. The item is not as advertised.

Very expensive for what they are... made of plastic, which is disappointing. The mounts actually broke in a heavy tropical downpour, breaking the quick connect disk that they mount on to! (pieces still screwed to the trees). This happened to both of the cameras I had mounted outdoors. These base mount plates (at least) really should be made of metal. Disappointing. It's also a friction-based connection (twist and connect), so if your camera is pointing in the direction where pressure from the top turns it in the direction to disconnect the mount from its base, well, guess what happens in a heavy rain. Poor design, should have a snap or screw lock. I know this must be making me sound like a novice, believe me I get it, but I'm actually a very handy engineer. Please improve the design Arlo!

I purchased this in September 2020. It survived until July 2023 outdoors, while protected from direct weather.Cons1. Plastic is rather flimsy as well as the engineering build.2. The lack of a beveled thread attachment means you have to precisely line up the threads when you screw the camera on. Even in the best of circumstances, when the mount is not above you, this is a very tricky task. Annoying and unnecessary.3. Because #2 was such a difficult maneuver, I slid the outer mount off to detach the camera in order to recharge it. I suspect doing this once every few months caused the mount body to fail. If you leave the mount alone and never, ever, touch it, it might last a long time.Conclusion: Poor mount build. Better off buying a much cheaper alternative with better head swivel maneuver and detaching options. I thought buying the brand name mount was the way to go. It is not.

My only complaint would be the rage of motion. Nothing else. Otherwise it was perfect for each of the 4 mounts that I needed these!

Lamentablemente el soporte aunque esta diseñado para las camaras Arlo Pro 2, extrañamente no mantiene la camara fija, es decir, el peso de la camara es suficiente para que la posicion se mueva hacia abajo por !el mismo peso de la camara!, esto es completamente un error de diseño ya que el soporte deberia de mantener la camara en su posicion. Indica que son para exteriores pero me he fijado que con el sol el soporte se vuelve mas fragil y por ello la camara se baja y ya no mira adecuadamente hacia la posicion que la ubicas, en verdad, que los soportes magneticos que vienen con la camara son mas fuertes ya que estos con nada se mueven(airte, sol, lluvia), el problema es que como agregue panel solar se requiere tener mas espacio entre la pared y la camara, pero estos soportes no hacen correctamente su funcion, talvez y solo talvez en sombra funcionen correctamente, pero definitivamente no deberian de ser para uso externo. Amazon un 10 en entrega, rapida y sin problemas. Esto es mas bien un error de diseño.

Ottimo accessorio

Pivot doesn’t go far enough down so camera is pointing too far upwards. I wanted this to sit on the floor and point upwards at my front door, but the angle of the base means it is best suited as a wall or ceiling mount. Can’t use it as a floor or table mount.
