GREAT HEADSET
I am no expert on gaming headsets and do not claim to be one. However, I do play a lot of video games and sometimes for long amounts of time. This headset, while pricey, is a good purchase. 1. When adjusted to the user's head, it is very comfortable. Even for long amounts of time. 2. The mic is easily adjustable and the sensitivity can be effectively adjusted. The mute mechanic is quite useful as well. 3. The sound quality is amazing. I consider myself to be pretty picky when it comes to sound quality. I made sure my car had premium JBL speakers when I bought it. That being said, this headset has great sound. The bass has a good kick and the high tones are clear. I'm always concerned with the mid tones making equipment sound muddy but this headset does a good job with balance. The superhuman hearing and EQ preset options are definite bonuses. They provide noticeable adjustments to tone. 3. Installation is a piece of cake. Just plug in the dongle to your ps4 and turn the headset on and you're good to go. 4. I have personally tested it (yes I do have friends and yes I do go outside) and I can confirm that this headset battery will last for 15 hours after a full charge. Functionality is not effected until it shuts off when out of battery. Just recharge it and you're good to go. I know that they are a bit pricey and I bought them as a "treat yourself" gift to myself but they were well worth it. I have no regrets. Buy the 4-year warranty and you're set for almost half a decade.

Great headphones
Very solid headphones for the price. Playable with glasses (its possible they could have made it more glasses-friendly but that would be nitpicking), swinging the mic up to mute is convenient, separate controls for game volume and your own voice's volume are nice. I get a weird squeak when putting them on but I can't imagine it'll develop into an issue down the road. Sound quality is great, very easy to setup with a playstation. A complaint I have is that the playstation tries to play out of headphones when they aren't on if you just turned it on and takes a few minutes to determine it should play out of your speakers, but I'm sure that's a limitation with the playstation, not the headphones, and unplugging the dongle or change a quick setting in the playstation menu solves that pretty quickly. I expect to be able to use this pair for a long time.

bravo
first off in my opinion turtle beach headsets has always been lacking in comfort. weather it be to much pressure on my head, ear pain or something else. this pair however changes that and is really comfortable.. the ear pads are mesh but are really soft. the added padding to the "pro spec design" really does help if you wear glasses. ( I do) Mic quality, has been very good. playback seems to have a very slight possibly crackle whenever you say an s word, I have no idea how to describe it, other than that slight mic issue your our voice will come in loud and clear. It doesn't appear to be to big of an issue though as none of my friends have complained or brought it up. the sound is great very crisp without sounding distorted. with four options to choose from, ( bass boost etc) for the price range it is well worth the money UPDATE: after first day, I wore them without about three hours big win, and didn't have the need to take it off after five minutes to stop any discomfort from ear pain, sweat, etc disappointingly there is no chat volume wheel which I thought the second adjustment was but it is only for mic monitoring. though I could stil hear my friends just fine after a slight adjustment of the in game master volume side note the headset overall volume is not the loudest but i found it to be loud enough without getting a headache or feeling i have to adjust them constantly for explosions or drowning out your party chat, . ( also could be because I had lowered the game volume) I know some people like to turn the volume to 11. update 2 about the mic. Its a non issue. Dont worry about it. .. I will update again after a few more days. update 3: I put a pop filter aka a wind screen on the end of the mic ( see photo) . they usually come with previous turtle beach headsets and are inexpensive on amazon. .

Great headset for a great price.
Let me start by saying I'm a bit of a headset snob.. I'm embarrassed to say that I have a pile of headsets in my closet that are just collecting dust because I always want to try the new thing. I've got Astros, Sennheisers, Audio Technicas, Logitechs, etc.. That being said, for some reason I always come back to this headset when I want something that just works. I fell in love with the Stealth line back when the 520 came out. I'm on the computer and phone all day for work using Skype for Business and these are what I use. They fit great, they have outstanding battery life, and most importantly they sound great! I don't mean they sound great after you tweak this setting and that setting.. I mean they sound great right out of the box with no extra setup necessary. They have great bass, clear mids and crisp highs. With other super high end headsets ($300+), I feel like I'm always having to tweak things to get them to work or sound good, but the stealth 600 just works. The mic on the Stealth 520 was meh, but the mic on this Stealth 600 is superb. The mic doesn't stick way out in front of your face but still manages to sound great to the people I talk to. I love that you can just swing the arm up to mute it and you get the nice little beep to let you know it worked. Turtle Beach did a great job with it. There are 2 reasons why I gave this headset 4 stars instead of 5. One, the placement of the volume wheels is such that I often turn them unintentionally when I take off and put on the headset. I've gotten used to paying attention to that when I handle the headset, but it was annoying at first. Second, the build quality isn't amazing.. its a plastic headset. I'm pretty careful with my electronics and I ended up snapping the headband on my Stealth 520, but they were a couple years old. The build quality on the 600 is a bit better, but it's still all plastic. They just don't FEEL high quality like the sound they produce. I'd love to see their next generation have nicer build quality. All in all, for $100, this headset is right in the butter zone for bang for your buck. Great sound quality, easy setup, and no fussing with complicated software or settings to make them work right. If you need a quality headset for PS4 and PC, whether it be for gaming or for business, this headset checks all the boxes.

Best headset ever!
I did a lot of research before I bought this headset and it lived up to my expectations. The sound is perfect unless you turn on “superhuman hearing”. As a few other reviewers have pointed out it is super tinny meaning you can hear every high pitched sound in a game very well but hardly any bass or mid ranged sounds. Make sure you don’t have anything in between your headset and the dongle or else it might cut out sometimes. That being said on a few occasions I have gone to my second floor while still wearing my headset and I can hear my game or video perfectly the whole time. The headset itself is very comfortable with glasses or without. Even after 2 or so years of regular use it has not broken in any way. The only bad thing I can say about them is that I can’t hear “above or below” me in a game. Everything sounds like it’s next to me if a sound is coming from above or below. I’m not sure though if this is the settings in the game or the headset.

Horrible!
I decided to buy the Stealth 600’s to replace my XP400’s, which I absolutely love but needed to replace when they started crackling a lot all of sudden, and I also wanted to go wireless anyway. Well, I could barely use the 600’s for a night of gaming before becoming super frustrated and returning them to order something different. Here’s why... 1. The volume doesn’t go very high at all! I followed all of the directions, including the step where I had to turn the volume to max from the PS4 settings. They’re still way too quiet! I literally had the volume wheel all the way up and maxed it out and still wanted it to go louder. 2. ...and even when the volume was maxed out, the sound quality wasn’t that great. Some sounds were really quiet, and some were really (almost intolerably) loud, with no balanced middle ground. The bass isn’t bad, I’ll give ‘em that, but when the sound goes from very quiet to very loud so quickly, I don’t care about the bass anymore. I’d rather have balanced, natural sound in my games. 3. No separate voice chat volume and game volume wheels? Seriously? Even my old XP400’s from 2013 had this feature. Whatever you do on the volume wheel for game volume also controls chat volume. No way! 4. Superhuman Hearing is awful and I don’t know why anyone would use it. The volume became louder, sure, but the sound quality became worse... very tinny, like I was listening in an airplane hangar. I tried this for a couple minutes before turning it off. It’s a shame because there are some features I like about this headset, such as the flip-to-mute microphone, the comfortability of the headset, and the four EQ presets with the talking voice to let you know which one you are on. Overall, though, the bad frustratingly outweighs the good with this headset. I can’t recommend it, especially for the $100 price tag. I don’t think I’d recommend them even for $40. Skip these and keep looking elsewhere.

Decent headphones - good until they break
I've owned two of these headsets over the past three years after upgrading from the Stealth 400. First, the good: They pair easily, hold the pairing, and have a good length of use before needing to be recharged, which happens quickly. They can be used while charging with a micro-USB if you last longer than the battery. The microphone is decent according to my friends, nothing special. I like the tilt-up to mute. I wear a size 7 5/8 hat, so my noggin is on the larger side and I found them very comfortable. The material doesn't show any wear after plenty of use. Now for the bad: The connection range is pretty weak. At times, I would lose audio simply walking into the adjoining room. I never had a problem while playing. The various sound settings are garbage. I ended up trying and then never using the various boost or "superhuman hearing" modes. The deal breaker: They break easily. I've gone through two of these headsets in three years with moderate PS4 gaming (sometimes several days in a row, sometimes not for weeks, a few hours at a time). Perhaps it's the noggin size stressing out the "double swivel articulation" connection between the ear cups and the headband, but both broke in that exact location. Once that happens, there's no more tension and the ear cups drop free, held only by a wire.
