This worked great for our gender reveal which we accomplished by an airplane drop! Even though the pink was easy to see, the floor for the aircraft flyover was approved for 350 feet which is lower than most places will allow. So I would buy the 25 lbs bag instead of the 10 just to be more on the safe side in the future! We also used the two 10 lbs bags for our first gender reveal which was done by a burnout. Just a trick if this is the route you will be going, don’t put the bags on the tires. Put the bags a foot or so in front of the wheels so the car will roll onto them during the burnout. This way makes the powder release a lot better. We used 2lbs of this if not a little more for my in laws baby gender reveal and it worked out so well! My in laws said they were absolutely thrilled! We put the powder in the exhaust and also the cut out underneath the car. We took extra precautions and tried to make sure powder didn’t get anywhere else except for where we wanted it so we used tarp to catch any fallout powder, elbow length gloves, and a change of clothes. We were also up underneath the car using a spoon to put the powder in the cut out exhaust so we personally needed to do all of this extra stuff. If you are just putting it in the exhaust then you most likely won’t need to do all of this. I used a solo cup to keep the color in the exhaust from being seen and any extra powder we put on a heavy plate(so it doesn’t blow away) which we sat on top of a dog bowl to get it close enough to the cut out. As soon as we turned the car on, beautiful blue powered came out! It was perfect! The powder can dye your skin for a bit and being a powder it gets everywhere lol so bring an extra pair of crappy clothes to change into while doing this as well as elbow length gloves to be safe. Once it’s on you.. you won’t be a very good secret keeper lol!

Ordered the pack with both colors so we could just hand everything to someone else and not have any stress. Decided not to try to burn down the forest and go with a car reveal, had everyone line up on the sidewalk in front of a family owned business and have the car drive in front of everyone. It turned out really cool, unfortunately I can't tell you the process since we didn't pack the exhaust. However it was amazing to watch and everyone had a good time so I would recommend it for sure if you're going to do a gender reveal party. There was also plenty so you could do some really fun things with a group of vehicles even!

Bought both not knowing the gender. We divided each 5 lb bag up into 6 small ziploc bags. On the day of the reveal, my hubby and only keeper of the gender, set up 2 lbs of Tannerite in a small box and placed the 6 smaller bags in the box around the Tannerite, 2 small bags on each side and 2 on top. Taped it up and my son shot the box with his high powered rifle! Worked perfectly and was a big bright burst of PINK! 💗 One happy grandma here! Now what to do with 5 lbs of blue powder???? I do want to put out a warning.... Tannerite is an explosive and could cause a small fire we tested 2 days prior with flour and no fire however, the day of the reveal we did have a small fire. Be proactive and have something handy to extinguish if one should break out!!!

This did a good job. Bright color, good dust cloud. We used 20lbs and we probably could have used a little elss. BEWARE it will stain your hands.

We used 10 lbs of this powder and 5 lbs tannerite, it was amazing! next time we’re gonna triple to powder and double to the bang though 💙💙
