Best most comfortable smart watch
My gf wanted a smartwatch to track her fitness goals and after doing tons of research I decided this was the best. I like it so much better than the tickwatch pro 3 I was using I bought myself one as well. So comfortable you forget your wearing anything at all. Battery life is fine, you can get a day and a half off a single charge and I typically only charge it when I shower or when I'm getting ready for bed. Nice bright screen with a great deal of quality apps, customization, and additional functionality. Particularly love that there is a find my phone widget and the flashlight one is pretty great too. The interface is intuitive and I like that you can add short cut access on the home screen. I use it primarily to track my fitness and get quick access to notifications and weather. Cons: while a day and a half may not seem very long for battery life it still blows the pixel and apple watch out of the water which typically last less than a day from what reviewers say. If you do not use a Samsung phone, 2 of the apps will not work with your phone by default. One being the EKG and the other being the blood pressure monitor. Imo they are more gimmicks and probably don't work as well as dedicated devices, however there is a way to side load them onto the watch and your phone. There are great YouTube videos showing how. The watch came with the larger version of the watch band and my wrists require me to strap it as tight as it will allow to fit comfortably. I'm 5'11" 165lbs so if you are much smaller or weigh much less than me you might want to get the smaller band. I would absolutely recommend this smart watch to anyone it's great. If you are trying to decide between the 5 and the 5 pro I've tried both on and here is the difference. They are both just as comfortable to wear, but the pro is a little thicker and weightier because of the bigger battery. You will notice that your wearing a watch with the pr. With the non pro I often don't even realize I'm wearing it. If having about 3 days worth of battery and a slightly more rugged watch is more worth it then feeling like your not wearing anything get the pro. Otherwise for most people I recommend the regular 5. The tickwatch pro 3 I had before became so uncomfortable to wear I would only put it on for workouts. So having something so lightweight and comfortable was an easy pick for me.

Started at 3, now we're here...
Started at 3 stars, now after a few weeks of use I'm upgrading my review to 5. Well it doesn't do everything I want a smartwatch to do (acknowledge Duo Security prompts, have a Google voice app on the watch), it does just about everything else and does it amazingly well. Without having a Google Pixel watch to compare it to, but only an Apple watch of my partner's, I can say from my experience that this is as close as you'll get to an Apple watch for an Android device. Day 4: Google Assistant on my watch - so easy to set timers and reminders. Audio cues when running - SO nice to not have to look at my watch. The ability to download Spotify playlists and play them on my Bluetooth headphones while running - magic. Day 1 impressions: * The initial setup was a convoluted multi-step process, especially as I didn't even have a Samsung account. * The Galaxy Wearable app is faster and MUCH more useful than the Fitbit app. Unlike the Fitbit app, where there are some settings that you can only change from the watch, you can actually change settings in the app which are pushed to the watch. SO nice compared to flicking through a tiny screen to set settings. * The default band is too small for a larger wrist, so I'm already shopping around for replacement bands. * Unlike Fitbit, where everything is in one app, you need to install another app (Samsung Health) to look at health data. BUT it's looking like I won't have to pay for advanced data, unlike Fitbit Premium, which is $80 a year if you pay annually ($10/mo if monthly). * Compared to the Fitbit Sense, the Galaxy 5 battery is crap, but that makes sense considering how much more "active" and engaging the UI is (which is more akin to the Apple Watch). With my Sense, I only had to charge the battery every 3 days - I'm already getting a sense that the Galaxy 5 will have to be charged every day. * The UI on the 5 is SO much better than the Sense. And faster. OMG, I love this thing compared to the Sense. * So far, sleep data is NOT accurate. I know I got about 8 hours of sleep last night, but the 5 says 5 hours. * Apparently, WearOS 3 is NOT compatible with Duo Security - so you can't acknowledge Duo notifications from your watch. BOOO!

Watch showed up on time and as advertised. I had a slightly rough time setting it up as the battery was running down faster than expected, but after a couple of days everything settled down. Apart from that, I've had no problems. Tracks my steps, heart rate, etc. perfectly, and notifications show up exactly like on the Samsung phone.
