How do I remove the cap properly in order to transfer it to a functional spray bottle?

If I want to apply this on my back daily do I have to take a shower before every use since it states to clean the area first?

No. Just as long as the area you want to apply it on is clean. A gentle wash cloth should be fine.

Would this discolor my shirt or bed sheet?

Nope! It works great. I use it right after the gym and the pool to prevent breakouts, clothes are perfectly fine and I've sprayed it on before bed, too. So easy to use.
