Best solder kid that I ever bought. It works so well I'd be glad to buy another one of them.

Only four stars at first thought The kit contains everything pictured in the first photo. However, down a few pics it shows a roll of wicking material and a second set of pointy tweezers, neither of which are included in this kit. I was disappointed in that, but not too. I'll have to be extra careful not to throw the iron back into the bag until it is fully cooled, the interior is lined with some sort of plastic or nylon. But for the price it is a good value, even without the two items in the lower pics. The instructions for the soldering iron are better than most of the poor Chinese translations. They are mostly understandable, and actually contain good advice. Section A: Welding Nozzle using has some important tips for new users. Things like "Note: do not file on welding nozzle with rasper" are pretty clear. Many new users may not know you can ruin the tip by sanding or filing off the detritus; it should be cleaned off before slag build-up gets bad, using a damp sponge or damp rag. "#15. Children don't know the danger of iron, so this product should be placed where children are not easy contact..." is another good instruction; it's just common sense, but how common is common sense? Lastly, it includes about eight lengths of colored wires, very thin. I had no idea about them, but they were useful soldered to small DC motors for hobby stuff. heck, I'll give this set five stars just for the (mostly) clear instructions, despite the slightly misleading photos. However, if you do not already have a big heavy spiral iron holder like I do, spend three dollars more and buy a kit that includes one. The tiny iron holder in this kit is not exactly safe.

I was using two battery operated services irons till now. This thing is awesome for my diy applications. It arrived almost immediately next day so I was down for very long. I like the temp control dial. It came in very handy as I almost burned off a polarity connecting on my speaker, oops. Lol can't wait to have another electronic task.

I needed to do a couple soldering repairs and could not locate my weller soldering gun after I moved. I decided to give this inexpensive kit a try and so far have been impressed. Comes with everything you need except the wire stripper is almost useless you can just use a lighter in a bind. The soldering iron was great love that it has a on and off switch on the cord most others you have to unplug. I also found the small stand with sponge handy to hold it off the table and to clean the tip be sure to wet the sponge first. The adjustable temp is nice if you need to solder really small wires. The solder included works great. Keep in mind the flux included is the hard type so you can only clean your tip with it you cant just dip your wire in it. Overall I recommend it and think its a superb value good job!

I think this is a great little soldering iron. It heats up quickly and is easy to use. I’ve used it on and off for about a month, mainly soldering connectors on Lipo batteries and bullet connectors on motors and electronic speed controllers. So far it’s done everything I needed it too, and for the price has been a good deal. Update: Well, it died early in December. I know it was inexpensive, but 8 months of light duty use and it dies is disappointing.

This kit includes several tips, and the temperature adjustment makes it easier to fine tune repairs. The kit includes all of the basics needed to perform a variety of repairs, and it's portable enough to fit into a toolbox, drawer or glovebox. Good value overall considering how infrequently I need to solder.

This kit has everything you need to do basic soldering jobs. Would be great for a beginner or for someone only needing to do occasional soldering. The 60W iron has variable temp control and gets hot enough to do quick work. Sometimes cheap irons are slow to heat up but this one gets up to temp quickly. Kit includes all the basics to complete a soldering job. Not sure how you could get more for this price? Cons: the wire stripper that is included is very rudimentary. That would be the first thing I would upgrade. A more robust wire stripper will make jobs a lot easier. And the sponge that is included for cleaning the soldering tip is pretty small. A larger cleaning sponge is almost a necessity. The kit is perfectly serviceable as-is and my opinion is that it is a great value for the price.

Falta o interruptor on/off.

Produto não é como anunciado. O ferro não tem o interruptor on/off no fio. Veio com peças faltando. Pelo jeito como o fio estava mal enrolado e a ponta oxidada, dava impressão de produto já ter sido usado. Devolvi.

É um Kit completo para inicial. Eu usei apenas para trocar joystick do controle do playstation e serviu perfeitamente..

O ferro de soda descrito na compra tem um interruptor no fio já o entregue no kit não.
