I Purchased these to control radiators at home and lights, as it saves me having to turn them off individually. The Tapo P100 2 pack comes with two plugs and a small instruction manual. They are simply plug and play essentially. Out of the box. These devices are rated for up 2900 watt devices and are compatible with most small powered devices in that range. They are not suitable for large scale appliances such as air conditioning systems due to the power draw that they utilise on first startup. The plugs themselves are no bigger than a standard plug adaptor, but they do contain an led and a manual switch which you can use to turn the plug on or off or hold to reset if you change your wifi. These devices require a wifi connection to operate so a router is required. First time setup you will need your routers security settings and the Tapo app on your phone to operate the device. However setup is fairly straight forward and gives you access to the devices full functions. Which includes timer use, so you can set your devices and forget them if you need to or set a schedule as well. I have never had any issues using the devices. The app provides all the functionality of the wall plug and you can rearrange and add other plugs Tapo devics into your app and expand the functionality fairly easily. You can even name the plugs to keep track of them. Note: You will need to reset the Tapo plug if you change your wifi router/settings. Pros: Easy to use, controls one device, 2900 watt max, is easy to use once setup, has manual on/off button. Cons: Requires a tapo account (free), not suitable for high power devices (air conditioners).

I bought these to replace two Alexa Basics plugs that turn off but allow the power to continue to flow so were pointless. The plugs were very easy to set up in the TAPO app- the instructions are short and to the point - download the app!! Once done that, it was very simple to connect to Wifi etc. Alexa didn't automatically recognise the devices until I added them and they then linked accounts. So far, the plugs are responsive to Alexa commands and turn on and off. My only comment would be they are quite tall so if you have a double socket with USB or similar, the TAPO may prevent access

This time, the main reason for buying them was for a gaming PC area, so I could shut everything down with a single Alexa command instead of turning off multiple plugs. What worked: They work really well for smart control. Being able to turn the entire gaming area on or off with one Alexa command is genuinely brilliant and makes daily use much easier. The app is clean, simple, and easy to understand, even if you are not particularly technical. Setup was straightforward, and for single devices like lamps or low-power electronics, they perform exactly as expected. What didn’t: The main issue shows up when they are used with a tower PC. After doing a bit of research and from my own experience, the constant high and low wattage changes from a gaming computer seem to wear these plugs out over time. In my case, they tend to last around a year before failing when used this way. For the price, I accept it, but it is still a limitation worth knowing about. Would I recommend it: Yes, but with conditions. These are excellent smart plugs for single devices, lamps, and simple electronics. I would not recommend them for long-term use on a gaming PC or other devices with constantly changing power demands. Final note: Great at switching lights, not so great at surviving the mood swings of a gaming PC.

Once linked into the hub they are very easy to use. A neat way to save and monitor your plug load energy. Price is ok as normal digital timers are around £7, so £8 for a smart web linked is reasonable.

Ich nutze diese Smart-Steckdose mittlerweile täglich und bin sehr zufrieden. Sie läuft zuverlässig und hat bisher keinerlei Probleme gemacht. Die Einrichtung war schnell erledigt und die Bedienung über die App ist übersichtlich und einfach. Besonders praktisch sind die Zeitpläne, sodass angeschlossene Geräte automatisch ein- und ausgeschaltet werden können. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und die Steckdose funktioniert seit dem Kauf einwandfrei. Fazit: Eine zuverlässige Smart-Steckdose mit einfacher Bedienung und einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ich würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Top, rien à redire. Livré à temps et dans un emballage tout à fait correct. L'application est très simple d'utilisation et fonctionne parfaitement. Je ne l'utilise pas avec Alexa ou Google donc je ne peux rien dire à ce sujet.
