LipSense Bundle - 2 Items, 1 Color and 1 Glossy Gloss (Rhubarb)

Edit/Update: After having used this product for a while, I can now recommend LipSense only for the times you need your lipstick to last for a few hours without worrying about touch ups...especially if you are in a situation that makes it hard to excuse yourself to find a private place to reapply. I have now found Lipsense to be drying (initially there is a burning sensation which I attribute to the alcohol content--definitely a drying factor). Unfortunately, LipSense will flake and peel if left on the lips for a very long time--8hours or so. Try to use the gloss frequently to prevent this from happening. To remove: Purchase a bar of Neutrogena glycerin soap, apply to a washcloth and lightly scrub the lips. The expensive remover is not necessary. On the plus side: the Roseberry color is very nice; subtle and feminine.ORIGINAL REVIEW: So glad I tried this product. I had been contemplating ordering this for the longest time and was reluctant due to past disappointing experiences with other brands of liquid lipstick. Lipsence truly lasts a full day without need to reapply. You might like to reapply the liquid gloss at some point late in the day. It's comfortable to wear and looks nice on the lips; not drying and cracking like drugstore liquid lipsticks. It does not transfer so it will not leave a mark on a napkin, coffee cup or wine glass. Will buy again!

I was buying this product soley based on the picture online...and it was a perfect match. That NEVER happens to me. I have very full (albeit small) lips. I've never had a problem with lipsticks running, so I'm not one to know how it works for those that have this problem. If you have dry, flakey lips I do not recommend. This product, just like other longwear lip is very drying. It WILL last all day if used as directed. Exfoliate your lips first-and follow the provided instructions. My favorite plumping lip gloss actually works as well as the LipSense gloss, but with the added benefit of lip plumping, so I don't always add their gloss. All that being said, I WOULD NOT purchase LipSense again. I spent two weeks comparing LipSense to Maybelline's SuperStay 24. Thought initially they do feel different upon application, I found they feel and wear the same through out the day. I found a comparable color in the Maybelline brand, and painted my lips straight down the middle-one side Maybelline-the other LipSense. Every day for two weeks. Each day I'd actually switch which side of my mouth I wore the products, in case the wear on my lips would be different. Absolutely no difference between wear or look at the end of the day between the two-for 14 full days. The Maybelline product is only around $8 full price. If I wasn't on a budget and wanted to support a friend that sells them, sure...I'd buy LipSense again, but that is not the case. No, I am in no way affiliated with Maybelline. Just a gal on a budget that wants to look pretty. Just treat the Maybeline as if it is LipSense in the fact that you should do 3 very thin coats as opposed to one as Maybelline directs...and on exfoliated lips. It will work the exact same.

It takes some getting used to, but I love it. I have heard people say that a tube lasts 6 months, but that was not the case for me. It lasted about three months exclusively using one color. I like that I don't have to constantly reapply all day. When you feel your lips begin to dry during the day reach for the gloss. Applying and reapplying the gloss is the key to making your color last.

I have wanted to try LipSense for awhile, but didn't know anyone who sold it. I went on a girl's trip a few weeks ago and I tried my friend's (not the right color for me, but wanted to get an idea of what the hype was about). I liked the idea that it was long lasting and had staying power - I hate when lipstick gets on my teeth or on my chin while eating or drinking. I'm still learning how to properly apply - it seems the best way is to swipe the brush across your lips in one motion, let dry for a few seconds and apply again until you reach your desired color. Do not let upper and lower lips touch during this process, then apply gloss overtop once done. The first application tingled my lips, but only for a few seconds. Once the gloss was applied the dry sensation completely went away. I love this color (Roseberry) - it's bright enough to tell you have on lipstick, but neutral enough that it doesn't stand out in a bad way. So far LipSense has beat any other brand of long lasting lipsticks - can't wait to order more colors.

Not impressed with these products. A lot of money and hype and not a lot of practicality. Anything that smells like pure alcohol on your lips and tastes terrible from residuals is a no no. This product will burn, so you better have the most luscious lips ever or it will seep into your skin and burn the tar out of you. Even with proper application, the smell and taste actually smells harmful. Ladies, just stick to your classics, this is a hype product that doesn't deliver. Flakes off, can cake up in creases and in the center of lips, doesn't have staying power. For obvious bright colors like red, can look bad.

So I jumped on the bandwagon and ordered this lipstick. Had to see what the RAVE was all about. At first it did burn my lips a little, but other times I applied it was ok. It did have a certain smell but nothing crazy. This product does as it says, it does stay on during the day. The only time it dried out and cracked was at the very end of the day, and I rubbed it off. I ordered Beige Champagne since I am blonde and blue eyes. I may order more colors like Bella. This color is very light for every day wear.

Thanks for another color of LipSense. Though this shade was brighter than expected, I still am in the mood to use it once in a while.

Love this product, love the color

I love this lip stain! It stays on with a nice gloss over the lip stain. Fire N Ice is a great shade, not too bright, not too light. Just right!

Maybe is just me, but it turns really dark.

These arrived fairly quickly (3 - 4 days) and are much less expensive than if you go through an individual seller.

Strawberry shortcake is one of my favorites!!!!

Didn't like anything about it.

Very happy with the color - a nice way to make brighter shades more neutral by adding a layer or two of Nude. Quality LipSense products!
