VEVOR Electric Hot Box Food Warmer, 5-Tier Commercial Warming Cabinets

First off it arrived a day early! That's always good. I researched this on YouTube and wanted it specifically for holding brisket after smoking. I set it at 145º and it held within about 3 degrees for over 12 hours. This will hold 5 full size serving pans like are used in catering. I saw one video where the guy said it was hard to put together, IT'S NOT! The only thing you have to do is put two screws through the door to hold the handle on and 4 screws on the bottom corners for the feet. Now, pulling off the white plastic protective wrap on the stainless cabinet was a bit of a pain but it's worth it to protect the beautiful stainless finish. I spent about 30-45 minutes pulling it off. It's not hard, just a little tedious. If you put it up on a table top it's a lot easier than bending over. The outside doesn't get that hot but to be safe I'd make sure to take all the plastic off before plugging it up. It was packaged VERY GOOD. I unpacked it and plugged it in and tested it with a Thermopen and a Thermoworks RFX Gateway remote bluetooth/wifi thermometer. The digital read out on the warmer was within 1 degree of the Thermoworks. The temp is very easy to set. There's easy instruction book with it. Read over it if you have any questions. I couldn't find any inside dimensions so I include several for you to ensure that whatever pan you have will fit.

This is a fantastic oven. It keeps within 1 degree of the set point. I’m very happy with this. I often leave it on 12-16 hours or more without any issues.

Horrible customer service. Unit failed after 3x use - they said they would send a part and after weeks asked me for my address. After I provided it, they asked again after another week. Terrible.

We cook for larger family & friends events and this item is a perfect extension of my home oven! It keeps already cooked items warm and then when ready for transport, we put the pans in the rolling (heavy duty plastic) food warmer box!

I want to first say this seller was so easy to work with. Oven worked when we received it, but unfortunately half way thru the event it quit. I assumed the return would be the biggest hassle, but it could not have been any easier. I would not hesitate to purchase from the seller or buying a large item I may have to return! Again, there was a problem, but was taken care so quickly. I would recommend over and over again!!

I read so many reviews about the protective film and how difficult it is to remove. If you can, just do it outside on a hot and sunny day. Be patient. The film came off perfectly and you cannot find a spot of it left. Do not try to remove with the film cold. Alternatively, use a hair dryer.

So I wanted to write a review on this item about what I have found so far. 1. The dreaded white film removal... Use a hair dryer on medium heat, took me 15 minutes to remove it all. 2. So far I have only tested it using a sealed pan of water with an RFX wireless probe inserted in it. Ran it set to 150⁰ F for 9 hours. It held within 3⁰ so perfect, if you're worried drop your setting to 146⁰ to 148⁰ and you should be fine on a brisket or pork butt. 3. There is an issue I can not figure out yet but I am still researching it. There is a "duration timer" on the screen on the bottom left of the screen. For the life of me I can not figure out how to set it and the directions you receive with this item are horrible. 4. The build quality is about a 7 out of 10. It is solid enough to do what it is designed to do. Word of advice though use a different pan for water in it because the one that came with it is VERY shallow... 1/4" deep. 5. The door is held shut with a magnet. It closes and holds and running a wired probe out the door isn't an issue at all, so if you use a wired system instead of a Bluetooth probe you're good there. I will update this review this weekend sometime ... I plan on running it through some active tests with real cooks such as a pork butt and a brisket. I will say that from what I've seen so far I wouldn't have a problem trusting it and for the price ... If you're on the fence I would buy it. I did elect the 4 year protection plan on it though.
