Only Works for Extension
This is exactly what I was looking for. A springless damper that works on opening (extension). They have a reasonable resistance on extension but little resistance on closing. The negative reviews seem to be from people who didn't read the description before buying. I can't speak to durability since I have only just installed them.

Don’t work
They don’t even retract and when you try to close the door yourself, the door can’t be closed all the way in, since they continue pushing on the door out.

Work nice, but careful with installation
These are well made and work as designed. But double check that the door will open and close fully. One of connections need to be pretty close to the hinges for the full range of motion to work.

Works but not very heafty
These were the strongest drop down slow decent shocks. They do ok, and they are priced awesome.

Used for opening slow not closing
Worked fine but had to return as they didn't work on a toy chest. It's an outward gas arm.

Good damping strength
These Qrity Flap Stay Damper Gas Springs, 150N/33lb, work pretty well for a modest sized cabinet door. I also bought and installed Douper 100N/22lb Gas Spring Hinges which are okay, but a bit weak. I prefer the Qrity 150N.

Un bon produit, bien fait et bonne finition. Pas aussi lisse que prévu mais déployé en paires, l'un devient l'amortisseur pour l'autre, alors pas grave.

¡¡Increible!! un pack con dos unidades y la dos defectuosas
Buenas, puedo entender que un amortiguador hidráulico pasado un tiempo y además con la calidad de fabricación china, pueda dar problemas y haya que sustituirlo, pero en este caso, los compré reforzados para que pudieran aguantar hasta 15 Kg, pero cual es mi sorpresa cuando al colocar el primero no sujeta la puerta de la vitrina y cual fue mi asombro al comprobar que el segundo estaba en el mismo estado. No se donde se produjo el problema, si en la fabricación o en el posterior control de calidad, el caso es que tuve que devolverlos y tener la vitrina sin sujeción algún día mas. Entiendo que AMAZON también tiene parte de responsabilidad al no verificar la calidad de los productos que distribuye desde su Marketplace. Gracias!
