Copper Thumb and Wrist Brace, 1 Brace

This thumb brace really works well. It’s fine quality that is very supportive and comfortable at the same time. It gets the job done and allows the thumb to heal. It’s easy to put on.

This is probably the most comfortable wrist brace out of the multiple that I've tried that I've even purchased two of them for both hands. It's not as supportive as a larger brace that covers more of the arm, but it also doesn't put pressure on the wrist and has no rough edges, discourages me from bending my wrists and provides some relief when carpal tunnel syndromes flare up at the end of the day. I wouldn't wear it during sleep or while doing any activities with the hands though. The thumb position is also a bit too extended for my taste but I just loosened the thumb strap.

Supportive and Adjustable Wrist Brace, but With Some LimitationsI’ve been using the Dr. Frederick’s Original Reversible Copper Infused Wrist Thumb Brace for flare-ups of tendonitis and thumb joint pain. The design is straightforward—easy to put on, reversible for left or right hand, and slim enough to wear during daily activities. The spica support does a good job immobilizing my thumb, which definitely helps calm irritation from overuse. I also like that it’s not bulky, so I can still type or use my phone without feeling totally restricted.The copper-infused material feels soft and doesn’t irritate my skin, but it is warm, and after longer wear my hand gets sweaty. The brace is adjustable with Velcro, but I found the straps tricky to line up just right—if you don’t tighten carefully, it can either feel loose or cut into your wrist. Sizing is “one size fits most,” and while it fit me, I can see how someone with a very small or large wrist might struggle with the fit.One other thing to note: this isn’t a heavy-duty brace. It’s fine for daily support and pain relief, but if you need firm stabilization after an injury or surgery, this probably isn’t strong enough.Bottom line: A comfortable, lightweight brace that works well for mild-to-moderate thumb and wrist pain, but not the most supportive option for more serious conditions.

I'm right handed. this hand brace can be worn on either hand. One never realizes how much a right handed person uses their left hand until a strain or injury. I do a great deal of typing and writing. This is one of the best braces I've worn. It allows your fingers and thumb mobility while it still compresses and keeps thing in place. Very good product. Will it last, probably not, but neither do socks. I've gotten two left hand braces from urgent care. The first one billed out at about $75 and the second one, called a freedom splint, billed out at $43. Do the math. Why we are overcharged to heal is beyond me. this one is good. The only thing it lacks is it needs to come down onto the inside arm about three inches. But I wouldn't like it then. I'm getting enough support for the thumb and could always switch it out to one of my other ones if need be. I tried to type word.docs with my first brace and it was a fiasco. This one is perfect for work, arthritis, pains, sprains, etc. It's adjustable to make it tighter, but my understanding is you truly don't want it that tight. I bought two without ever having tried one of these and I am glad I did. It's a great product.

I have had issues with tendonitis in the thumbs of both hands, doctor recommended splinting or bracing to rest the tendons.I purchased this thumb brace not for the copper, but the pricing. It claims to basically be a one size fits all, but it is questionable on the sizing. I have XL hands when it comes to gloves and yes, I am able to secure the splint, but the large middle strap barely attaches and in order to get it to hold I have to make it tighter reasonably comfortable for long periods. Also you need to place the securing tab very specifically to avoid having the rough hook and loop rubbing on your hand.The other two straps are fine and I have no issues with them. It does function to stabilize the thumb and helps give some relief. I just wish there was a little mor strap in the middle or there was extra material to protect the skin from the hook and loop.I may be a little rough on the rating, but since I am experience pain and this is supposed to help to reduce the pain, I find the skin irritation discomforting. I believe for a smaller width hand there would be fewer problems.

I have dupuytrens disease also known as Viking disease. This brace keeps my thumb from curling during my sleep. Very sturdy and easy to put on.

The best brace I've found for my DeQuervain's - the thumb brace is a game changer.My hands and fingers are very small/short - this brace is fully adjustable and very comfortable. Love it. Great product.
