Cutter Backyard Bug Control Spray Concentrate 32 Oz, 2 Pack

Our flea problem had gotten out of hand, so I treated the yard with this before letting the dogs resume their normal backyard patrol. By the next morning, I was already seeing results, including a surprising number of grubs scattered across the surface that I did not even know were living down there. Apparently the backyard had been running an underground buffet without telling me. More importantly, this helped us get the flea situation back under control when paired with treating the dogs themselves. The hose-end application made covering the yard straightforward, and the overnight change was noticeable enough that I felt the treatment was actually doing something rather than just giving the lawn an expensive shower.

I've been using this for a few years. We live in a forest area and the ticks are heavy here starting May-September. A walk to the mailbox, which is about 40 ft. will get us several little hitchhikers, in my opinion, one is too many. This attaches to your garden hose, it's easy to use and 1 bottle covers a huge amount of space. When used according to directions, it really works well. We keep the kids and the cat inside for 24 hours after use.

After trying this for the first time a couple years ago, I make a point to apply it every couple of months now (depending on rain) during mosquito season. While it doesn't totally eliminate the little pests, it makes a tremendous difference. Our house sits on 5 acres of timber, about 200 or so yards from the river. In the summer especially, mosquitos will carry you away. Sitting on our patio in the evenings was unbearable until we started using Cutter. I spray it is directed, first thing in the morning while the ground is wet, covering the grass around the house & patio as well as the nearby rock garden. Just make sure you don't spray any flowering plants as you don't want to harm pollinators like bees & butterflies. Within a couple of days you start noticing a difference, and you can clearly tell when you have gone beyond the coverage zone - if you walk up our driveway away from the house it's like an invisible line where you immediately start getting attacked. It isn't a guaranteed fix, and you'll most likely still have some mosquitos if they are prevalent in your area, but man does it help. We typically use mosquito coils or a Thermacell near the seating area as a double-whammy, but I don't even like walking around the yard in the evenings if we haven't sprayed this stuff. Depending on how much rain you get, the protection seems to last around 2 months before it starts to wane. Perhaps in a less wooded area, or with a stronger application, you might get 12 weeks. I've tried a similar concentrate spray from Spectracide and wasn't impressed. Not only did it not cover as much of an area, but I didn't really notice any appreciable difference in the amount of mosquitos. I'm definitely a believer in Cutter's Backyard Bug Control.

I have been using this product for a couple years now, have been recently purchased on Amazon because I’ve been going to our local Ace Hardware previously to pick these up (but they were out of stock). These are easy to used as they just hook up to your water hose. I find it pretty easy on the safety standpoint because you can just unhook it when you’re done if you haven’t used the whole bottle. It also has a safety switch so you can turn it off if you need to pause using it in your yard. I think the volume is great value for your money, especially as it’s a product that is diluted as used. I have noticed some bottles leak slightly compared to others. I blame that on the cutter brand itself. I think some bottles aren’t as tightened as well as others. I’m not sure about the effectiveness of the product, as I use this on the week that we don’t have our lawn company spraying for mosquitoes. I haven’t really noticed of reduction in mosquitoes from just using this alone. When my wife and I and friends are outside, we also use citronella candles, torches, and incense sticks to deter mosquitoes while wearing bug spray. Most of my usage tends to be towards the neighbors yard who doesn’t spray anything, but I keep this away from our garden where my wife plants vegetables, and herbs. The product says it’s safe for pets, but I always wait till the end of the day, or it has completely dried before letting my dog out in the yard to play or do it’s business. I wouldn’t recommend spraying this and then letting your kids play outside until the end of the day as well.

We sprayed pour yard twice in a week with this and after second spray the Florida Noseeums were gone for a month

Im not sure why but it doesnt seem to be working. I sprayed it everywhere 7 hours ago. I tried to sit outside for dinner just a moment ago... I had to go back inside because mosquitoes were biting me. I feel like I wasted my money. Edit So I sprayed it again. The entire property again. Mosquitoes are immune to it. They're biting me. I can't hang out outside without dressing up in a hoodie and jeans and boots like these Mosquitoes are crazy. Ouch.

Kills the mosquitos and grasshoppers. Ive used this in my yard for years. Nothing else works. Pet safe when dry. Also works to kill the beetles in our elm trees. Bought it for my dad who has a mosquito problem in Texas, he sprays the rocks and it was more effective than the company they hired for $150 every 2 months.
