Q: What's the difference between a hybrid hose and a rubber hose? And which is better?

A hybrid hose is usually made from a combination of rubber and PVC. In my experience it is more pliable and user friendly. I think a rubber hose is tougher and tolerates more abuse. In a home environment I like the hybrid.

Q: Can anyone post a shot down inside one of the open ends? My other-brand hybrid hose uses end fittings which restrict air flow considerably.

The fittings on these hoses also restrict air flow. They are - maybe 3/16", or less ID. I have trouble keeping air pressure constant at the tools, causing nails, Etc., to set at different levels because the tools run low on air volume. Turning up air pressure is not the same as having adequate volume at the tool. On a nailer, the first nail gets slammed in and subsequent nails stick out more and more, which have to be manually hammered in. I finally ordered 1/2" and bushed them down to high flow 1/4".

Q: is this product oil resistant

I don't know if it's oil resistant, but I have no complaints after using it for 6 months. Stays flexible in cold weather, my primary concern.
