I am impressed by this product. It is tough and soft. I unepectedly added a starving, 8 lb, dumped itty, bitty pitty that has turned into a well-fed, not itty, boistrous, chewing, sweet, 30 plus pound pitty puppy to my home. Grace chews and digs on this pad, but it remains in-tact. The pad is ultra soft and thick enough to provide protection from the cold hard tile floor. It is the best pet pad I have found. I will purchase another to protect my leather sofa, because...the puppy has to be next to me and she diggs on my leather sofa...no problem for this pad.

This is perfect! I bought a crate for my new rescue puppy and it fit perfectly in the cage. It did slip a few times in the beginning when my dog came out of the cage but I believe that was more of my dog getting used to being in a cage and being overly energetic and excited. Since he’s calmed down it barely ever moves and if it does it’s the slightest bit (maybe an inch) that I can slide right back. It’s thinner but just enough cushion so it doesn’t poke out of the cage and my dog loves laying on it! It was a very quick unwrap and lay into the tray of the cage! Would recommend!

This is listed as a crate pad, not a dog bed, so to the reviewers that complain it’s thin, it’s supposed to be thin to fit inside your dog’s crate. Otherwise it would bunch up and be uncomfortable for your dog to sleep on. I’ve used these types of crate pads for years, and even my senior dogs who had arthritis found them comfortable. When you wash them, be sure to balance the load by washing a blanket, towels, or other similar weight items so your washer won’t get out of balance. That’s why some reviews are reporting it was soaking wet after washing - this happened to me, and it was because the load in the washer was unbalanced. Adding a couple of towels to the load solved the problem. If your dog tears it up, that is not the fault of the product!! There’s no crate pad that will survive a chewing dog, so don’t give it bad reviews because your dog destroyed it. Amazon should reject those reviews as they are irrelevant to the product quality. It’s not waterproof, and it’s not advertised as such, so this is not a negative. It’s the perfect size to fit inside my dog’s crate, and he loves it. He won’t sleep on a regular dog bed. He prefers these flat crate pads, even when he sleeps in his playpen during the day. I have tile floors, so it must have enough padding for him to be comfortable, even though it’s fairly thin. I wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle, and dry it on low or air dry. I’ve used crate pads like this for years, and they have held up well.

I really liked this dog bed. The sizing was perfect, it fit great in the crate, and it looked super soft and cozy. My dogs went straight to it, so it was clearly comfortable. Sadly, it didn’t survive 24 hours in my house 😅 My dogs turned it into a full-on fluff explosion. If your dogs aren’t little destruction experts like mine, this is a great bed. Just wish it lasted longer!

I find it hard to believe that I received the same crate pad as these people giving this thing one and two star reviews. This pad is perfect for crate life. It's not supposed to be the thickness of a dog bed...it's a pad. And my six months old puppy loves it. He still loves sleeping in his crate and occasionally needs a timeout, and this pad keeps him comfortable during crate time. The size is perfect for my large Retriever brand crate from Tractor Supply. It is a pretty gray and is silky soft with just enough fluff and a non-slip bottom to keep it in place. It has already survived its first washing with no problem. It has also survived some puppy chewing with zero rips. Very durable and well-made and a great value. I highly recommend.

Item is soft and has non slip bottom, and the size (47”) was perfect for my 48” crate. BUT, it is very thin. I couldn’t feel any padding and I want my dog to have some. I had to send it back and go with a thicker pad.

I want a furry mattress topper just like this!! Lol It's so soft, plush, and non shedding at first use. I bought this for my male furbaby but his sister said scooch over!! The grippys at the bottom are great and prevent sliding. Hope washing this doesn't affect that. Sister went in without being invited, brother went in after being asked the 2nd time and promptly plopped down. Best cage pet bed I've ever bought and the price is ridiculously reasonable for the quality. As you can see, I'm pretty sure I'll be buying another

Great size for dog crate

Perfect dog bed. was purchased to use in a crate to bring my dog home. Fit the crate well. I needed a very large size and this one was good quality for the price. It isn't super thick, but i didn't want that as it was used in a crate. But because of that is makes it super easy to toss in the washing machine. Have washed it many, many time now, and still going strong. As my dog already has a mat to lay on, i now also use it for extra padding my baby play pen. Perfect thickness without being too bulky or taking up space. Honestly just needed it for the crate originally, but almost a year later, I have gotten my moneys worth! Dog and baby both love! Easy to store when not needed.

This product is amazing. I have the same in all three of my dogs crates. The best part it’s machine washable and stil comes out in one piece
