Easy to use
Easy to use, these Old Farmer's Almanac fertilizer spikes are easier to use than the brand I used before. They stay intact even when I use a mallet to bang them into clay soil. It will be summer before I know if they were good for my shrubs and trees. Here's hoping.

Tree and Shrub Fertilizer Stakes--Fertilizer Stakes that Deliver.
13-3-3 fertilizer stakes for your shurbs or trees. Supports health plant growth and health. The are advertised as "will not break or shatter" when being driven into the ground--and the claim is true. Thats a real plus. Should help your shrubs and/or trees green up. A good value

These were ok
Not bad. Not the easiest to hammer into the clay soil we have here but I got the job done.

Does the job
After hurricane these helped my trees green up nicely. Easy install but crack and break a lot when installing. Would dig the hole before I would try to drive in with hammer for best results.

Good quality material
I just received these and I've not got the opportunity to put these in the ground yet, but the quality of material/stakes do look good. There definitely are fertilizer in them because the smell of ammonia nitrate/urea is there without a doubt

Easy to install
I see some complaining about difficulty installing these spikes. I found a very easy method. I use a small pickax and with one swipe of the pointed end I create a hole about 8 inches deep, put the spike in and just press down on it with the pickax inverted.. The spike disappears down the hole below ground level. I installed 12 spikes in about six minutes.

Don't split while you pound them in
My trees seem to be very happy with these spikes. They stay together when you pound them in!

Nice for tree use.
Fertilize my large trees with them. Use a steel spike to predrill for fertilizer spikes.
