It's a great little sling
Alright, overall I give this thing a 4 star bc of the weight and thick handle, but considering it's 12.99, I gave it the fifth star, bc you couldn't hardly buy the piece of stainless it's made from for that price, let alone the machine work necessary to make it this nice or comfortable in the hand. I don't use the sighting system and cannot speak to that, but it is a nail driver with a bit of practice. I felt it was a bit too thick with the scales, since I plan to keep it in my pocket, for impromptu plinking, so i did a paracord wrap that im quite happy with and was also quite easy to achieve. This thing is as accurate as can possibly be, and the bands that come with it work well for 9mm steel/clay shot (albeit at a lower velocity than id like, but they still punch holes in soda cans at 30ft for clay, and further with steel), though they would probably be better suited for 9mm lead, or 11-13mm steel. I have a 30" draw length, I trimmed them at 6.25" and cannot complain about the performance at all...I cannot sing it's praises enough, this is a great little sling, comes with a handy little carrying case. There is a lot that can be done with it, as far as customization and it's a real fun shooter. I strongly recommend it for a first time shooter or even someone more experienced, it's well made, cost effective, and accurate, you cant ask for a lot more...as a side note, if you shoot hammer fisted, the handle scales would probably just fine.

Great slingshot and well made.
Haven't used slingshots since I was back in my teens, a few years ago, haha. They've come a long way since then. This one is stainless steel. It comes in a nice case and came with extra bands. The sights work well. The bands are not heavy bands, good for practice. I do like the ball pouch. Where the ball sits, on each side where you grip it, there are indents that insure that amo is centered properly and the pouch is aligned correctly. There are some interesting facts about the slingshot. Being steel, it weighs more, which in one way is good. When you release the band to shoot, there is less movement of your wrist. Where you attach the band to the forks, the screws that hold the clip have springs so when you put the band on, you are not trying to hold it all together and it helps hold the band in place while tightening. Clips that tighten the band are designed to lock the band in place with ridges. It also has a toung and grove design so the clip only fits one way. See photo. This also helps to set the band properly without the band being cocked at an angle. What I did change and helps me; I made my own wooden handle grips to replace the plastic ones that it comes with. I made them like a pear or tear drop. This is so when holding to shoot, there is more mass to have in the palm of your hand and provide a stronger grip. Also, the side that faces me when holding is slightly thicker then the other side. This gives less movement from band release. If you look at the photos, the bottom is 2 inches thick and the upper is 1.5 inches. The hand wraps around providing a good secure grip. There is no need to have your thumb and forefinger on the lower fork flanges. You could use anything to wrap around the grip/handle to make it bigger. This made a great improvement. For the money, you can not go wrong. It's made and designed well.

Love the design and ease of use
Love the product but if you don’t use it properly it will hurt your fingers. Especially in the cold weather. Very accurate shooting once you get a hang of it. Bands break often, but I think I just overuse mine. Love love love this. Price is a bit high compared to others.

Very good slingshot imho
This slingshot with the bands it cones with is easy to pull back, is comfortable to hold, and using the included sights I can so far easily hit a solo cup size target at 10 yards. Just got back into slingshots and im still practicing hoping to get more accurate. The supplied bands seem to be OK to start with. The fiber optic material has to be installed yourself which I thought was odd and its a little fiddly to do but not hard. I used a lighter to put a ball on the end, inserted it into the sight, cut a tad long and then balled the other side with the lighter. There were no instructions at all. The included case is nice and holds the sling and some ammo nicely.

Neat!
Beautiful little slingshot! I've gotten really good at shooting with this, and it's actually very accurate with some practice. It's small in overall size, but chunky in weight in the hand, doesn't slip out, easy to hold, comes with extra supplies and a case to hold it all. Anybody would like this thing, any kid, any teen, any adult. Any sized body. Grammy, Grampa, get one for your grandson or granddaughter, it will make a lasting memory. Teach them safety and use, and put up paper targets in your yard. Learn with dried beans, garbanzos are awesome. BB's next. Highly recommended. Highly.

Cracked and dried out bands
Slingshot is awesome fun To shoot. Only problem is when it showed up and I opened it the bands were cracked and rotting the first shot broke one band when I examined the others they were cracked and dry ordered different bands from another company. So if you buy this make sure to buy other bands.

At this price, FLOCK to this one!
At this price for a well made stainless steel slingshot, everyone should FLOCK to it! I used my CAMERA to SHOOT some photos of it and the handy holster I made for it. It shoots 1/2" lead balls very well and very hard. The removable sights are neat but not needed. I recommend filing them down smooth though because sooner or later they'll ruin your bands. The included "fiber optic" straws are far too thin to fit in them anyway. The grip is nice but easily removed if you want to make your own that's more ergonomic. Make sure you're wearing gloves and glasses to protect yourself! Long sleeves too if you've got any visible tattoos etc you don't want to accidentally get hit with a rebound.

Horrible
I understand you get what you pay for especially with items like this when you first get it it genuinely feels like it would be a good item. It feels of high quality, but overtime literally within two days of using it and not even using it a ton every little part on it, they could break literally broke When you open the box. There is a horrible smell. It smells like a skunk died inside of the box, I don't know if it's just a latex from the bands or what it is, but I bought two of these and both of them had the same issues and smell Personally I would stay away from this product and just save your money and buy a higher quality namebrand one.

Bemerkenswertes Teil
