Gurren & Lagann Revoltech No. 66 Action Figure

This figure came faster then the expected delivery date said, which i enjoy. The figure is smaller that i had thought (it's roughly the size a current Ipod Classic)and Lagann is exeptionally detailed, i had a little problem with Lagann, one of his legs came off but it wasn't a big deal i just put the thing back on like nothing happened. Lagann comes with an extra set of arms with the drills, a little stand so it can stand on the ground next to gurren, an extra thing for gurren so he can "fly" on the stand the Gurren could use. The only problem i had was changing the normal for head without the glasses is that getting the one with the glasses is difficult, not only trying not to break the glasses in the progress, the glasses and the forhead without the glasses go on a small revoltech joint. Overall the figure is nicely designed, highy posable, very detailed, and an absolute have if your a fan of Gurren Lagann.

So first things first, the seller I ordered it from offered free shipping. Being the guy I am, I said... "Why not?" Two days later, it was in my hands. That was a bit unexpected, from a free shipping offer. Onto the figure: Gurren is surprisingly pose-able. He's slightly smaller than expected, but that's because I'm used to larger mech figurines/models. The sculpt is great, the joints work really well (for Revoltech joints), and the stand is stable. My only complaint is his knee articulation, which seems to be a bit wonky at times, depending on angle. The paint is great, also. The blacks have a very matte, "carbon fiber" look to them. The red is very glossy, and looks metal, at an angle. The painting around the eyes and teeth is also great, as there's a small bit of blue to give a depth to the details. Now, the bad part: Lagann. I didn't expect much, as he's kind've just an addition to the figure. But wow, talk about poorly made. The arms are on small pegs, that while durable, are very loose fitting. So if you want to put his drill arms on, they won't sit too well facing upwards, as the weight in the fists will rotate the arms down. The drill attachment for the neck fits great, but the drill is actually kind've warped to an angle, which looks odd if you don't twist it into a decent place before you attach it. The faces are nicely done, for the size they are, but the biggest problem is the legs. Within 2 minutes of changing out parts, I went to reattach the regular legs, and (Surprise, surprise!), one of the legs flat-out broke off. Now, other reviews warned about this, but I didn't expect it to be so quick. Upon inspecting the model, the pegs that hold each leg in place are no bigger than a needle. Come on, Revoltech. I'd rather he be slightly bigger (Which wouldn't be an issue, as he's actually too small, scale-wise), than sacrifice durability. Especially on such a nice looking mini-model. Honestly, if it weren't for the leg issue, this would have gotten a 5-out-of-5 from me. The additional glasses for Gurren, and the boomerang version are both wonderfully made. (Scale doesn't matter, as the weapons in the show change size almost at the behest of whoever uses them.) All in all, a great first by from Revoltech. I look forward to getting my hands on a Revoltech Gurren Lagann, and a Bandai SRC Gurren Lagann so I can compare them.

When I first opened the box I was afraid to move anything because the joints were extremely tight. The figure itself looks amazing but it did have a small paint scratch. It's fantastic figure but I do wish that it was a little cheaper because the price doesn't match the quality very well

A very high quality figure, although the legs on Lagann are EXTREMELY flimsy (one broke off almost immediatly) When you compare Lagann, to Gurren, and to Enki (a figure I purchased along with it) they all feel to scale. Overall, a very highly recommended figure for a TTGL fan.

Its fun posable and show acurate and they included a coin as a thank you which was nice

Pretty cool of a figure. Exactly what I expected. But can be very hard to pose without knowing how to product already works. I will be buying the rest of the set.

To tell you the truth , I was very suprised in the level of detail that these figures have. They look as if they were taken out of the TV series. Compared to the Gurren Lagann figure, you can see the vast difference in height and form between the two kits. My only complaint is Lagann's flimsy legs. They aren't meant to posed like what's depicted on the box. Heck, one leg broke off of my Lagann after just one pose! Sure, it was fixable with some super glue, but now I'm afraid of switching the legs out with the drill, in fear of breaking the leg off again. But other than that, this kit is a welcome addition to any Gurren Lagann fan's collection.

It was great but it was missing the brow with out the glasses, very disappointed. And now Lagann's legs fell off.

ネオリボルテックと銘打ち、新シリーズの開始したリボルテックですが 基本的には旧シリーズと変わりません。良い意味で。 新シリーズになり主な変更点は様々なシリーズで違っていたパッケージの統一。 ２２×２２×６ｃｍ程度の箱に大きくなりました。 その他ポイント制が付き、様々なリボアイテムとポイントが交換できるようになりました。 さて、グレン&ラガンですが、 ずんぐりむっくりな体型に反して非常に良く動きます。 塗装に関しても細かいところ（ラガン各部）まで丁寧に塗装されよい感じです。 おまけ的なラガンですが四肢の付け根が動き、 別表情もついているので様々なシーンを再現できます。 グレン、ラガンともにオプションパーツも充実しているので いじり倒して良し、ポーズをつけて飾っても良しな一品です。

ネオ・リボルテックと銘打ってますが、商品の出来は形状、ギミック、塗装ともに以前のシリーズと正直なんら変わりません。 エヴァもそんなに変わらないでしょう。 新しい試みがいくつかあります。 商品を手にとってみると箱が大きくなりました。 グレン＆ラガンでは大きいですが箱を他のリボルテックシリーズと共用にするとのこと。小さくなるならまだしも、うーん、邪魔だ…。 リボチップなるものが入っていますが集めるとグッズがもらえるとのこと。グッズの種類をみるとあまり…。 リボコンテナなるものも全種に付属してくるようです。これは付属の部品管理ができてありがたいですね。欲を言えばコンテナに種類表示のステッカーのようなものがあるとさらに良かった。 リボオリジナル企画のアッセンブルボーグを押し付けられているような気がします。このシリーズに興味ある人って結構いるの？ 可動範囲は前シリーズ同様文句なしです。この新シリーズに皆さん期待しましょう。
