I like the handle
Outstanding. I watched a Youtube video of budget beast knives and the Hultafors OK4 won, so I bought this and also the Mora companion heavy duty, which was also in the competition. I like the handle, love the blade, though it wasn't all that sharp from factory. I like this knife because it was $23.82 and it is a performer and it is strong and simple. It also came with a firesteel, which was a total surprise, as it said nothing about this in the description. If you look at the 2nd pic, you can see there is a nylon tube on the bottom of the sheath. That is where the firesteel slides in and stays (somewhat). This thing will throw sparks too. Very sparky! The sheath is simple and effective. It's also weird and not all that simple now that I think of it. It has a weird snap together cordura sleeve that affixes with a snap-in getup and I honestly don't get it. The Mora has a superior sheath - super simple and effective. This one is too complicated and I have no idea why. But it holds the knife real well. The Mora has a thicker blade, and is polished very nicely and was sharper out of the box. But this one has a deeper blade and seems more ready for business. This is a tool for me and not for display. If I were you, I would get both. The Mora was also $5 cheaper. Both are excellent and will probably never fail. Nice Knife for Camp Chores
Finally found a decent priced OK4 to try out. Am impressed with the compact size, that feels comfortable in my size large hands. Blade was sharp out of the box and appears to be very sturdy. Tested the edge on blocks of black and honey locust. Which it performed well on both type woods. As some folks have pointed out, the sheath is adequate. But like Morakniv, Hultafors has focused itโs priorities on the knife itself. I do like how Hultafors added the nylon ferrule rod harness and belt loop. That makes this sheath a step above Moraโs sheath. Overall, a great knife at the price point.

Halfway between Mora Bushcraft and Mora Robust
I have seen videos that compares this to a Mora Bushcraft but itโs really not quite as nice probably a little closer to a Mora Craftline Robust. Not as sharp out of box as Mora but thatโs not a big deal, handle is a good fit for small to medium size hands. All in all a good quality knife I deducted a star because a Mora Robust is less expensive and I really canโt see why I should pay more for this unless itโs due to blade coating and sheath is maybe a tich better which I really donโt care about. Ok I will admit itโs worth $20.00

A small power house of a tool.
The knife arrived sharp, but needed a bit a work, its a hultafors brand, the quality is in the product, its easy to secure the sheath ,the knife it self secures on it own inside sheath very tight, its a good knife to have.

Much better than the Hultafors heavy duty knife
I already owned the Hultafors heavy duty knife (380020 GK) when I bought this knife. The heavy duty's handle even though textured, was as slick as hot oil on...well you get what I'm saying. It was also a little to big for my medium hands. The OK4 has a Santoprene grip over the polypropylene handle which gives it a great grip even wet. It also seems the handle is smaller and fits my hand better than the heavy duty. The blade made of Japanese SK-5, 3mm thick, and is one of my favorite carbon steels. It's the same steel used in the Cold Steel SRK and SRK-C which I have both. Its light, very tough, and hold a great edge. The blade spine on the OK4 is unfinished to use with a ferro rod. The sheath holds the knife securely, has a drain hole, and has a place for a ferro rod. It's comparable to a Mora Craftline Robust but with a wider blade and better sheath.

Slightly better than most Moras
Many reviews say the Moras are better. With maybe the exception of the Gardberg, I disagree. The handle beats all the Moras. Grippy, better pommel and finger gaurds, and serms to fits the hand better. Moras have a half tang. The hultafors tang goes 3/4 to 7/8 into the handle. The blade is Japanese SK 5 steel which is equivalent to US 1080 high carbon steel. The only mild gripe ( for me it's not really a gripe) is it isn't quite as sharp out of the box. But I put a fine, ultra fine stones to it and strop. It is shaving sharp now. Hultifors makes great tools. I have an axe from them that's amazing. Also the sheath is better. Now that the price of this knife has come down, you need to get one.

Forgot to sharpen
Not a fan. Knife was not sharp at all. Not even sure they tried to sharpen it before they sent it. Very disappointed.

Inexpensive but mighty
Knife performs well above its price class. Every bit the equal of a Mora. I keep one in each car, one in my general outdoors pack, and a fourth in the garage. I've batoned kindling, made feathersticks, and a bunch of other bushcraft tasks with them and they hold up great. The heat treatment on the steel is fantastic, with resulting edge retention being quite good. It's also easy to touch the edge up with a standard strop. Worth buying.

Budget Bushcraft knife worth looking into
Heard and saw the reviews on this knife and took the plunge. Batoning: able to baton but only can be done to smaller logs Feathering : does a great job Filleting : Does the job but not the best cut Will recommend for the casual camper who needs a knife to get things done around the campsite . Not your FX-1 or ESEE . But itโs a heck of a workhorse

Great sturdy knife (with a little work)
I bought this as a replacement for my trusty mora clipper I lost recently. The sheath is a nice friction fit and has a loop for a firesteel which is great addition. It clips onto a belt well and the elastic strap can be removed too if desired. The material on the handle is nice a gripy and pleasent to use and fits well in the hand. The blade is carbon steel and has a tough black coating all over the knife blade this is ground away on the bevel the first time you sharpen it so I see it more as rust prevention on the face and to protect during shipping rather than use. It also has some measurements etched into the coating I'm not sure how useful these are. In comparison to my old mora this knife is much thicker (3mm) and broader (24mm) blade than the clipper which is great. It is not sharp out the box but I wouldn't expect it to be! Having the ability to sharpen and maintain a knife comes with owning a knife. The biggest downside to this knife was the grind this was obviously done quickly at the factory and given the price I understand. Instead of being an even grind from guard to tip the grind tapered towards the tip. This I'm assuming is easy during manufacturing but it makes for a very "blunt" tip which is difficult to sharpen but also strange to use doing any work close to the tip feels off you have to change the angle and that just feels weird to me. I spent about an hour re profiling the edge with a coarse diamond stone to be more consistent as you can see in the pictures and I'm very happy with it. I actually enjoy making this knife my own and improving it. If this is something you want to avoid and use straight out the box then this isn't the knife for you. However as an inexpensive bushcraft knife it's hard to beat. Carbon steel holds a wicked edge and is easy to sharpen this is a fantastic blade for thoes who have never owned or maintained on as well as more experienced outdoors people.
